America's Fallen Out of Love With These 5 Beers

#61

Quote:Portland has some of the best breweries. Then you blow it by stating Busch is not only a beer, but a good beer. Unless you meant for beer can chicken on the grill.

Well, I didn't actually say it was a good beer. It's just that among the macro brews, it's the only one I can stomach.

Deschutes in Portland makes some great micro-brews. Chainbreaker white IPA has a great taste to it, Obsidian Stout is a fantastic dark beer, and if you want something a little stronger they have Inversion IPA although it tends to knock me out.

Ugh. Can someone get me a High Life?

I'm trying to make myself more informed and less opinionated.

Stop saying whatever stupid thing you're talking about and pay attention to all the interesting things I have to say!

How can you possibly choke down metallic tasting corporate urine when you could have a craft beer that snobbishly displays your highly discriminating palate and its associated implication of superior intellect and moral standing? Be damned, you mouth-breathing philistine.

You used a lot of words there. Were any of them related to you getting me a beer?

So I'm in the minority if I like Miller lite over Miller high life? I keep both but my go to is Miller lite.

Oh, sorry. Here you go. Most of it is still there.

I think the thought is that, their tastes are close enough to the same, but high life is 8ish for 12 pack and lite is 10ish.

No, but if you can find Fantasmo by Three Floyds, it's worth a try. It's also a pale lager, but unlike most pale lagers, it actually tastes like something. Not quite my cup of tea (or bottle of beer, as it were), but a decent brew all the same if pale lagers are your thing.

I was never in love with those beers.  It was simply the cheapest way (along with MD 20/20) to get my BAC to 0.20%

I love how some are defending bad beers.

There are bad beers, and then there are baaaaaad beers. If I'm dying for a brew and there's nothing else in sight, I'll put down a Dos Equis or Landshark, but neither would be my go-to if I had better options.

On the contrary, you will never, ever find me with a Natty Light, a Keystone Light or anything with the words "Bud/Budweiser", "Coors" or "Miller" on the label. Why? They're baaaaaaaaad beers.

It's all opinion.  I drink Miller High Life and think LandShark is  :yucky:.
