Pacman Jones

#1

Did anyone else laugh watching him crying on the sideline after losing the game for the Bengals by being a punk?

I still recall back when when he used to get juiced up with the tacks. Fisher installed a rotten punk attitude in him that he's carried with him. I think he's a free agent this offseason and I feel sorry for whatever team goes after him. There's not many players that I can say I hate, but this is one fool I can't stand.

I'd like to see the Jaguars go after a top CB in this year's free agency, but I trust Caldwell knows to avoid this cad.

The Jags won't be pursuing Jones, but I think Joey Porter deserved a flag for being in the middle of that situation. Jones was an idiot for bumping into the ref and drawing the flag. But, why was Porter even on the field. Should have been offsetting penalties, IMO.
Never argue with idiots. They drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.

Porter will be fined, per numerous outlets. The logic behind his being allowed on the field in the first place is that he was out there checking on his player.

Pacman is a moron but he was hosed on that one, Joey Porter who is now a Steeters LB coach and is a known instigator had no business on the field. He went in the middle of 6 Ciny players started cursing them out and Pacman Jones went after him and the refs throw a flag only on Jones it should have been on both of them.

Actually, I felt bad for him.

He's cleaned up and has been playing very good football.

Had Porter followed the rules and wasn't on the field, there never would have been an additional penalty, and his team would likely have won.  They deserved the win (they earned it,) they just defeated themselves with the penalties.

What kind of human being finds joy in another's sorrow, anyway?

I've been a big supporter of Adam Jones.

But he still hasn't gotten rid of "Pacman" and it showed right there

THERE IS A SKELETON INSIDE OF YOU.

RIGHT NOW. THIS IS NOT A JOKE.

Joey Porter wasn't out there checking on "his player". He's not working with the offense. He went out to provoke and taunt as per Mike Tomlin and the refs allowed him to do it. FBT is right on target. Jones lost his mind after seeing the double standard all game long. Don't like him, but I understood his frustration. That was one slanted field yesterday.

Adam "Don't Call Me PacMan" Jones has really turned his career around from the punk he truly was his first few years.

He almost got kicked out of the league. He got another chance and has been a mentor to younger players around the league in warning/showing them what punk immaturity could cost them.

I used to despise him, but his turnaround and ability to stay out of trouble and just play has been inpressive.

He still plays with an intense fire that's easily seen. He's had a "pro-bowl level" of play the last couple years. He really got snubbed similar to Carlos Dunlap thus year.

His intensity got the best of him last night, and it really cost his team. Joey Porter instigated that situation and Jones couldn't walk away. Too bad.

As for Joey Porter,,, that guy is still a tool.. He was the "Vontaze Burfict" of the last generation of NFL punks.

I wonder if he made it rain last night after the game?

I think DC should pursue him, at least on a limited time deal anyway, he's still a very good CB and how much of a punk could he really be wearing our terrible looking unis

He has been playing at a very high level the past couple years (almost going unnoticed nationally),, and he has been one of the most effective punt returners too. He still has electrifying return moves, making something out of nothing on a regular basis.

If the Bengals can't retain him, he'd be a really good 1-2 year player for most teams.

I could see him landing in Oakland/LA Raiders. That would be a terrific signing for them.

Jagherd, I actually like us pursuing him, it gives us depth at CB and punt return, and also brings an edge that we really need

The guy was nearly thrown out of the league after multiple run-ins with the commissioner, and this latest game losing incident suggests he simply cannot control himself. I see him being a bad apple in the locker room, and on the field he always been a big of a thug committing fouls and injuring players with no remorse. We don't need a guy like that affecting the culture being established.

Nah thanks I'll keep Greene at punt returns. Don't want that cancer on my team.

What is it some folks think he did?

Porter was out there talking trash to nearly the entire Bengals defense.  Jones had a few words for Porter, too.  Both where separated without escalation of anything more than words.

He certainly did less than the Steeler coach/trainer who swatted Burfict away as he was checking on Brown.

Seems to me folks forget about Tomlin's tripping incident.  That, Porter on the field stoking the flames, and the swatting of Burfict... seems like Tomlin as as little or perhaps less control of himself and staff than Lewis and his players.

Just sayin.

His video he posted on Instagram after the game was childish.
