What a game.

 

Drake has been one of my favorite players ever and I'm so happy he got to do something big on the biggest stage of 'em all after everything he's gone through the last two seasons. Love that kid to death. Loved seeing Howard actually targeted for once and making people pay for forgetting about him. On the Clemson side of things, Deshaun Watson is an absolute BALLER. Knew he was going in, but he gets better every time I see him play. Hated seeing Alexander go out with the hamstring injury. Never want to see great players go out like that.

 

I'm so wired right now that I don't think I'll be getting much sleep tonight, lol.

What a great game to end the season. I don't think it saved the bowl season as a whole, but it made up a lot of ground.

I did!  Had to be at work early today.  And when it was 11:15 and still in the 3rd quarter, I said screw it and went to bed.  These college championship games always run late.  Was so much better when the championships were decided over New Years weekend and there was no threat of work the next day.  Wish they'd play this game on a weekend... or a friday night.
