Cat lovers only! Kitten Bowl 3 on Su-purr Bowl Sunday

#1

If you love to watch kittens play and get the Hallmark Channel, Kitten Bowl 3 is must-see TV. It is a four-team playoff featuring gray, orange, brown tabby, and black kittens (divided by color to resemble uniforms) from two NYC animal shelters. It is hosted by Beth Stern, Howard Stern's wife and a public speaker for North Shore Animal League. As if the "cat-letes" themselves were not cute enough, some were named after NFL players, such as Montee Hairball and Ben Roethlispurrger. There is even a coach named Bill Belicat. Of course, some of the toys are miniature footballs. The games are shown from 12-3 ET, so you can still watch all of the Super Bowl pregame shows. All of the kittens - including tailgaters in the purrking lot - have been adopted.

Right now I just want to see if enough people are interested in cats playing football to have an official thread.

I'll take the under.

I mean, it's totally not a problem when you want to bet on a kitten bowl, right?

I'm trying to make myself more informed and less opinionated.

Stop saying whatever stupid thing you're talking about and pay attention to all the interesting things I have to say!

Nice to watch the General Tso's beat up on the Teriyaki Chickens.

Their O-line isn't the best but their Fe-line is ferocious

I used to have a cat that weighed around 30 pounds.   He was the perfect fit as a two gap 3-4 NT.

Knowing cats, it'll be something really passive aggressive. They'll probably let the other team score, then go over and take a whiz all over their sideline to show how mad they are about it.

Would you want to bet on something that happened months ago? The games were played in October.

It's safe to assume that there will still be at least some bets on the Kitten Bowl.

They never do that. There are too many toys to distract them.

If one kitten gets mad at another, the referee will call a biting or "illegal use of claws" penalty.

Is anyone else interested in watching kittens play their own version of football?

- What are the end-zones made of,, kitty litter?

- Are the footballs regulated? Or, will one of the teams cheat and have Catnip filled footballs?

- Are the kittens de-clawed?

IDK about this. So many questions, it's all very confusing.

I think they should put the puppies and kittens together.

Now THAT would be a game.

That cat is wide open. Must have been 3rd and 14 against our defense.
