NFL.com has us taking Deforest Buckner

Quote:I think it's the same thing as us drafting Joeckel.

They're not going to give up on Lewan and take another tackle, much less 1st overall.

I see them taking the best defensive playmaker or hope someone wants to trade up with them.
who is the best defensive player?

Quote:Tunsil is the favorite to go #1 overall because he fills Tennessee's biggest need. San Diego is dying for any upgrade on the offensive line. I don't see him slipping past the Chargers.

Maybe it's because he's the highest rated player in the draft?

Lance Zeirlein listed offensive tackle as Tennessee's biggest need.

I don't get the excitement from the board about Jack. He's a good player, sure, but we already have a stud weakside LB who's one of the best players on the defense. Why would we draft another?

Jack is versatile enough to play any lb spot. In a year or so, he could replace Poz and be our Bobby Wagner

I personally think jack is going to be a solid player, but not the type of guy you draft that high.

Coughlin when asked if winning will be a focus: "What the hell else is there? This is nice and dandy, but winning is what all this is about."

Can you provide one who flopped besides Dion Jordan? Last one I really remember getting drafted in a decent position was Olshansky but that was like 10+ years ago.

Ramsey or Jack end of story.

Bosa isn't even high on my list. He's going to be average next level and has all the warning signs Blackmon did. Getting suspended for big games for smoking pot. Let the Titans have him.

I hear Jairus Byrd, Kiko Alonso, and Patrick Chung have been ok too.

After that, buyer beware.

Really.  Can you look around in the files and find the guarantee for Luke Joeckel?   We might be able to collect something on that.

My question is, exactly how big is Jack.   I've seen him listed at 225, and I've seen him listed at 245.

One thing for sure, Poz should not be playing on obvious passing situations.

We'll know for sure on Feb. 26.
