Quote:So your saying this is the same as the previous 5 years when we didnt have a franchise QB or two 1,000 WRs or being a competitive team?

Come on now, Blaine Gabbert was garbage, and after Bortles first year most people were not sold on him just yet.

This is not a Classic anything, this is the first time in years we have a bunch of good players, and the most important piece a real franchise QB
I totally agree. I'm hoping that we can make the playoffs and win this division.

However we had 2 1,000 yards WR's and  a QB set franchise records... it all added up to 5 wins. With the easiest schedule in the league.

If you can't clearly differentiate between this offseason and the past three in regards for potential to markedly improve, then that's not a "herp-derp" post.  It's just uninformed.

The past three years around February we were all praying this team could creep up to 7 wins.

Now we are in a situation where that won't be enough to satisfy anyone and there's a reasonable expectation that we'll finally see .500.  "Next year" finally means something more than an [BLEEP] comment around here.

But it's still the truth.

It can't be said enough. The Jaguars weren't bad because of the roster, they were bad because of the coaching. The team has the roster to have won the AFCS easily with top tier coaching, and win it narrowly with mediocre coaching. It takes a special kind of bad coaching to mess it up like the Jaguars did in 2015.

Or a special kind of bad DEFENSE.

The defense was bad because the coaching was bad. With adequate coaching a defense can occasionally force a punt, and if it can't, you can sign guys off the street that can make that happen.

The second titans game sealed it, the Jaguars coaching just can't hack it.

I got a feeling this team is going to win big and early for the 2016 season. And I see us easily making the playoffs with an improved defense and better blocking upfront

Those are some fine Teal-colored glasses you are sporting right now.

Mighty fine indeed.

Just don't take them off.

I survived the Gus Bradley Error.

I respectfully disagree. This defense is atrocious. As is the O line.

The best way for ESPN to put together the team is probably for the 4 Division Beat Writers to exclusively vote but they can't vote for any players on the team they cover.

Aren't you and MJF supposed to be on your honeymoon?

How many stars do the Bear have on D? They were at least average.

It was a coach who was stubborn and stuck to his defensive plan when his personel didn't match. Bad coaching.
