I've been following this one all day.  There has been quite a bit of movement.  UF started out at around 5 or 6 and has steadily fallen.  FSU was right around the same area and steadily climbed.

 

 

FSU finishes number one on ESPN, two on Rivals, two on 24/7, and number three on Scout.

I learned a while back not to look to much into the rankings and the number of stars a kid has. Obviously they are fun to talk about leading up to recruiting and provide some good banter back and forth. I have seen to many 4/5 star kids not pan out, and 2/3 star kids look like they should've been 4/5 stars coming out of high school. A whole lot of it has to do with the system that the kid walks into and what he is asked to do. Sometimes the fit is terrible when a coach or coaches thought it would work or they could make it work.

 

One that sticks out to me, only because it is so fresh and he is a Gator is Antonio Calloway. A 3 star kid, small at 5'11'' 175 pounds. Outside of the ESPN 300. But all the big dogs offered him. Came in as a freshman and had a really nice impact (Particularly against Tennessee  :whistling: )

That's the thing though, he wasn't the consensus number 1. They even talked about it on the radio on my drive home. I forget the kids name now, I know, how convenient.

Harbaugh just set up Michigan's Spring Practices to be conducted at IMG Academy in Florida. Another innovative recruiting move.

This I know. Last year, with a limited time to recruit he had a class rank of 37. This year he was up to 5 and pulling big time kids. That sort of pressure isn't something Meyer appreciates.
