Johnny Manziel saga

You certainly get the same quality from either location.

This guy needs to hit the road from the NFL permanently. He has had plenty of chances.

Lets be fair, I'd probably show up drunk too if I was a Cleveland Browns player.

Time bomb.

Even Ryan Leaf is chiming in on this guy.

That's when you know it's really, really bad.

Between him and the affluenza teen, my time in Texas has been interesting.  There is no room for domestic violence in the NFL.  I know you have to be a tad aggressive in your life to be a professional athlete but these guys need to experience real consequences.

What's funny is the Browns statement that Manziel doesn't embody the values of the organization. He is EXACTLY the same kind of train wreck that they are.

Not throwing stones, because the Jaguars sure have some who have gone astray over the years.  Hopefully that will be kept to an absolute minimum.

Dallas police have obtained security video from the hotel where Manziel allegedly assaulted his ex girlfriend.

Agree.

I brought this up in another thread.  He's born unable to outspend the money his family has.  So, what purpose is he compelled to follow in life?  Most of the rest of us have to choose a pursuit we love and make a living doing it to find happiness.

What motivation does he have to work hard at anything other than partying?

Well, Johnny Manziel is now available to any of those teams who wanted to draft him.

There were even some on here who actually wanted him.

Will he ever get picked up by another team if he does get his life together, although that is a big question?

I survived the Gus Bradley Error.
