According to Jason Cole, we will go on a spending splurge. Man, i sure hope so.

That would be exciting for sure. Boy add Jack or Ramsey and a rehabbed Fowler / Marks.

Seriously could be a really good team.

It does make sense due to the combination of Caldwell and Bradley needing to win and Khan's willingness to spend money. Khan has all that money to spend and I'm sure he hates losing. Extending Bradley's contract is another indicator that they plan on being active in free agency. Jags will have to compete with Oakland for Jackson. Hopefully Gus will win him over.

Oh great, well there goes any chance at realistic expectations for the next few weeks.

Been saying for weeks the Jags are going to go off in free agency. Should be fun.

Malik Jackson would be a great signing. Hopefully Julius Thomas is on the recruiting trail...

You're right, the rest of the league (12 of which have over 40 million in cap space) is just gonna turn belly up and let us monopolize the joint. I just read today that there is going to be a record breaking billion dollars in cap space this FA period, and the reality is that the Jags probably will offer a ton of money to a ton of FA...and they'll strike out on most of them.

I've been on these boards for a decade and have seen the plethora of annual anger posts once the first day or two of FA passes and we haven't signed every Cobb and McCourty and Bulaga.

Wow. Sounds horrible. What keeps you coming back of you don't mind me asking?

If true (I have my doubts), it would be pretty nice. Coupling that with Ramsey and some other talent in the draft would make for a great off season.

Well obviously aside from being smarter than everyone and an absolute wiz with spider charts, you are an extremely strong individual.

I'm not sure he needed sources to say we're going to target defensive linemen in free agency, but ok. Who knows who we'll end up with, but this is likely going to be a very fun first couple days of free agency.

It mentioned Sean Smith also.

Ramsey seems to be the early pick over any DE.
