Myles Jack (like Adrian Peterson) is showing "freakish" recover ability

#1

via rotoworld

Arizona Cardinals physical therapist Brett Fischer is overseeing the recovery of UCLA LB Myles Jack (knee) and said, "He's way above track in his rehab."
"When I gave [Jack's] stats to the doctor, he couldn’t believe it. The leg that Myles had surgery on is bigger than the one that didn’t, which is unheard of," Fischer said. The 6-foot-1, 225-pounder won't be a full participant in the combine in Indianapolis, but he'll perform whatever drills he misses on March 15. Jack's currently working his way back from a torn meniscus of his right knee suffered in practice on September 23. While injury recovery is never certain, Jack's a probable Top-15 selection in this spring's draft. Feb 21 - 4:44 PM

Not surprised.

Tyrann Mathieu tweeted something recently about Jack saying he was an absolute freak athlete. I believe Mathieu saw him at some training center.

What are the odds on Jack making it to 5?

Could be getting weaker and weaker especially if he tears up (no pun intended) his Pro Day.

The guy was the Pac 10 defensive and offensive  freshman of the year in 2013, that's simply unheard of and is a testament to generational type talent.

I think it's likely, I  see at least two offensive players and maybe even a third going in the top 5.

Ramsey, Jack or Bosa!

You can't screw this up Jags!

Yea this is a great year to be picking in the top 5 for defense, as there are only a handful of truly elite defensive prospects in this years draft. If the kid from Ole Miss (Robert Nkemdiche) had his head on straight he'd likely be a top 5 selection as well.

I think the only team that would take jack ahead of us is Dallas.

Tennessee is going Tunsil, Cleveland is going QB, not sure how Jack would fit in SD's 34, and then there is Dallas.

The draft seems to be coming together to push Bosa to us, but I wonder if he would be a Dave Caldwell guy. I am completely on the Myles Jack bandwagon at the moment, especially if he shows up weighing 240-245lb at the combine.

You're right about Dallas. They need pretty much everything on defense just like us so they are basically a mystery.

I actually think they will Ramsey because Claiborne is probably gone and Carr keeps getting torched. Ramsey would be nice for them because he's the type of guy that could get into OBJ's head every time they play also.

You could argue Telvin is our brightest star on defense. Jack could outshine him athletically from day 1.

Who does Jack compare to? A Levonte David? A Navarro Bowman? Danny Trevathan?

Deandre Levy or Levonte David would be his best comparison I think.

50-50.

I am falling in love with the idea of selecting this guy.   We need more pass rush.   We need better coverage.   We need more speed on defense.   Jack is all of the above.

Jack is not a pass rusher but otherwise I agree with what you said.

He actually doesn't compare to anyone. Not really any linebacker has had the physical skills this guy has.
