Do we take another WR or RB in this draft?
|
For depth purposes presumably. I'm not talking 2nd, 3rd, or even 4th round, but maybe around 5th or 6th round who do you think we should take a shot at? maybe we could get a WR from Baylor or TCU. It also would be cool if we drafted Derek Watt or Glenn Gronkowski; as we need a better run blocking FB IMO. As well as the fact that it would be hilarious to see J.J. Watt get knocked down by his younger brother lol.

I wouldn't rule or anything in rounds 5-7 except a QB. If there is a RB with a 3rd round grade in the 5th, Dave might do it. Sometimes value trumps perceived need.

I agree that we need a better FB option, but we've got a lot of depth at WR so another one might seem a bit unnecessary.
I think we will look strongly at adding another RB

With the three picks in 6-7, I think we're looking at BAP with an eye toward open roster spots. The FSU kicker is interesting there, too, especially with the Scobee pick for the symmetry of it all.
Vicbow Rules is right about value sometimes trumping need. That wasn't the case in the last 3 years but the roster is evolving close to that point.

I hope we can get him, because a lot of other teams want him too. We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today!
I think we definitely draft a RB. Based on Dave's comments the other day, I highly doubt we draft a WR.
I hope all our picks will be on the defense.
RB : Yeldon, Denard, Toby, Grant, Gray, Banyard WR : AR15, Hurns, Greene, Lee, Walters, Sterling Maybe a WR, but it shouldn't be a priority.

Taylor will go undrafted IMO.
I'm not opposed to a RB in the 6th. I do think they'll be thinking 'BAP' by the fourth anyway depending on how free agency goes. So it just depends on who falls to them. WR? Can't see it happening.
I am in the minority but I think the Jags need a speed guy to compliment Robinson and Hurns. Lee doesn't strike me as someone who will get better over time.

I fall more on a RB than a WR, however it all depends on whos at what spot. I also dont believe Taylor will be drafted.

Lee doesn't strike me as someone who will get better over time. I still like Rashad Greene as the "developmental" WR. He had similar measurements and workouts to Antonio Brown and flashed his speed on punt returns last season.
