Sam Bradford question

(This post was last modified: 03-01-2016, 11:42 PM by Kotite.)

He sucks. True or false?

I get QBs are at a premium, but I have never seen what the big deal is with him. Potential is great, but this guy has been injured plenty and didn't exactly dominate when healthy.

Only a chump boos the home team!

Bradford, Stafford... I think they were both big name prospects in sorry QB drafts who were never who they were sold to be.

To me they're like a Cutler.

You could do worse, but you could do a lot better, too.

I think Stafford is on a different level than Bradford,  as strange as it sounds I think having Calvin Johnson has hurt his development.  Bradford is garbage I don't understand why they don't start Sanchez in Philly.

Go Jags!
*To stay up for atleast 2 years 3/6/17
2016 draft players I think will be good
  • On the Fournette train, will be best back of his class 3/6/17
  • Lattimore please,  Lockdowns on both sides would be nice
  • Engram at TE and the MJD clone Samaje Perine

Bradford wishes he was Stafford or Cutler.

Johnson inflated Stafford's numbers.  Pitch and fetch.

Their mirror opposite - Favre to Antonio Freeman.  Great QB, good WR.  Favre made this pair the #7 all time QB/WR combo in terms of TDs.  http://www.cheatsheet.com/sports/the-10-...?a=viewall

Even with Johnson, Stafford/Johnson doesn't crack the top 10 all time.

To me he's a more talented Josh Freeman.  Some impressive numbers at times, but not necessarily impressive QB play.

Stafford also got hurt in development by being a Lion. The lions churn staff too much to help develop anyone.

Bradford is decent until he sprains or breaks his body.

Cutler is an attitude problem.

Bradford is average when healthy and that is few and far between.

I read somewhere that Sam Bradford is the highest paid QB, all-time, to never start a playoff game.

He went 7-7 last year with Philly, his best season %-wise.

Here are his QB stats:

Bradford getting a 2 year $36m deal ($18m per year) is ridiculous.  He's worth half that amount.

He certainly hasn't performed the way that so many people had felt he would, but I was never on his band wagon...

He is injury prone, I think that is fact if nothing else...

I actually disagee with the opinion on here and think if Sam Bradford can stay healthy he can become a top 10 QB. He spends far too much time injured though.

Bradford is the luckiest dude alive right now. I mean he's played horribly overall WHEN he is even on the field. But after this contract, he'll be 30 and worth over 100 million dollars. And will STILL play a few more years and probably still get paid. I just laughed hysterically when I read his new contract. I mean you're paying HIM almost 20 million a season. That's upper tier top 5 QB pay for a bottom 5 player. Bravo Sam Bradford BRAVO indeed.
