Quote:I'll jump on this train again; Grabbed a bottle of Belmont Farm Kopper Kettle this weekend. Not too bad for the price. Had a little spice to it and there was some kind of fruit flavor in there. I wouldn't go sprinting to the store to grab some, but if you come by a bottle it's a good buy. Now you tell me after I've sprinted halfway to the store. I should know, I tried that tactic myself.

I went home to warm drinks this weekend, hot chocolate with Bailey's or Jameson for the most part, though I did enjoy some cold beer in Orlando while it was nearly 80 degrees out.

The money quote on liquor that shows why I truly hate politicians:
"If, when you say whiskey, you mean the devil's brew, the poison scourge, the bloody monster that defiles innocence, yea, literally takes the bread from the mouths of little children; if you mean the evil drink that topples the Christian man and woman from the pinnacles of righteous, gracious living into the bottomless pit of degradation and despair, shame and helplessness and hopelessness, then certainly I am against it with all my power.
But if, when you say whiskey, you mean the oil of conversation, the philosophic wine, the stuff that is consumed when good fellows get together, that puts a song in their hearts and laughter on their lips and the warm glow of contentment in their eyes; if you mean Christmas cheer; if you mean the stimulating drink that puts the spring in the old gentleman's step on a frosty morning; if you mean the drink that enables a man to magnify his joy, and his happiness and to forget, if only for a little while, life's great tragedies and heartbreaks and sorrows, if you mean that drink, the sale of which pours into our treasuries untold millions of dollars, which are used to provide tender care for our little children, our blind, our deaf, our dumb, our pitiful aged and infirm, to build highways, hospitals, and schools, then certainly I am in favor of it.

This is my stand. I will not retreat from it; I will not compromise." - Noah S. Got a bottle of Jim Beam Rye on the cheap this weekend to ward off the cold weather. Not too bad, for someone looking for a good Rye to mix things with. Not so sure I'd drink it all by it's lonesome though.

I sure wish we could get Firestone Walker beers in Florida, Amelia! Where are you from that you get them, assuming you are not a bot!
Senor, I agree with you on 805, but Parabola, Sucuba, Stickee Monkee, etc. are all amazing! I am happy any time I get to be in an area where FW is distributed.

All their other beers are excellent. There is a reason 805 is marketed completely different from all their other beers. We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today!

I sat on the beach drinking Bacardi. Then I sat by the fire in my backyard drinking Bacardi. Then I sat on the couch watching tv while drinking Shock Top.
