Let's talk Marqise Lee

I kind of look at him the same way I look at Blackmon. Anything he gives the team is just icing on the cake.

I think we are all rooting for Lee, but so far in his short NFL career he just hasn't done much to be worthy of being drafted in the 2nd rd.
I know he's been injured and has a hard time finishing a game when he does get to play. Here are his stats so far in his 2 short seasons: http://www.pro-football-reference.com/pl...exMa00.htm
I survived the Gus Bradley Error.
Once (if) he puts the injuries behind him he'll be great. He got behind the defense a lot when healthy last year, he and Blake need some chemistry and he'll catch more of those deep balls. Blake underthrew him a bunch, which to me means he's just not used to Lee's speed
IT WAS ALWAYS THE JAGS

Yes he is young and still have all the talent
injuries happen, he still played more games his rookie year then Allen Robinson and most games last year then Green, he just has to put a whole offseason together without all the nagging injuries

Yes, we know that if Lee's career ended this offseason he'd be a total bust, but you never know when a WR with his kind of talent clicks. I thought Cecil Shorts was a bust after his rookie season, but then he turned it on in year two with nearly 1000 receiving yards and 7 TDs. Hopefully is really is just the injuries.

I'm a believer, unless he shows me nothing this coming year I think he will be good. I don't think he will ever wow with stats but him and Julius open up a ton of space for the rest of the offense to operate.
Go Jags!
*To stay up for atleast 2 years 3/6/17 2016 draft players I think will be good
Quote:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UIjzTV0r1po Watching this reminds me of watching ARob last year. I love how he'll catch anything from a short slant to a deep bomb and just keeps running for the TD. As for his role this season, I see him as ARob's primary backup whenever he needs a breather, and in the mix outside at split-end along with Arrelious Benn to give Blake more deep passing targets.

Lee's clearly entering a make-or-break season, period. There's nothing else to say.

Wrs generally take 3 years anyway to me we got really lucky with Hurns and Arob I expect Lee to follow suit.

Hopefully, he'll stay healthy and flash this season, so he can be traded for a 4th rounder before his contract expires.

Quote:For anyone not aware of the Marqise Lee Story (growing up), please click the link and take a few minutes to read the article below.I've read this article before, but it was back when we drafted him. I thank you for giving me the chance to read it again. Truly a touching back story. No matter what Lee does, or doesn't accomplish in the NFL. You can't help but root for the guy.
No one on the team has his explosiveness and we're not picking another WR this year. We have to give it one more shot to see if he can stay healthy.
