Falcons abandoning Irvin to get Mack is great news for us from both vantage points IMO.

Yeah Falcons focusing on Mack and Trevathan. Cardinals not up to paying Irvin all that much. A bunch of rumors saying it's the Jags. I'd say we are in a good position to grab him.

Our front 7 with the addition of Irvin to it is going to be so nasty. Just need to add a backup MLB/guy like Jack in the draft to take over for Poz on 3rd downs. He's a beast on 1st and 2nd down, but we can't keep running him out there on 3rd down.
