You've got to be kidding me....People say a lot of things on here that arent fact but it can read that way.  I even ended it by saying I would be shocked if he won it this year.  Wouldnt that mean I think there is still a possibility?

 

Honestly, you guys need to get past the feeling that everyone is against him.  Its really not that way for 99% of the people out there.  He seems like a good kid who has done some really immature things, but you all want to defend him way too quickly.

 

Its only common sense to think that if they dont drop the charges, voters are going to be turned off to him.  You can defend it all you want, but its the truth.

Ok, smart guy. Who is going to win it then? Are they going to make it a lifetime achievement award and give it to AJ McCarron? Alabama just lost so I highly doubt he will win it. Hell, he isn't even the best player on his own team. Are they going to give it to Jordan Lynch? Can you really say Jordan Lynch is the best player in college football? How about Bryce Petty? No one takes Baylor seriously anymore now that they've lost. Andre Williams just hurt himself, and he probably had the best chance to win it next to Winston. Manziel won't because Texas A&M has four losses, and Mariota is an afterthought as well.

 

So who does that leave? Maybe the guy who is still listed by Vegas oddsmakers as the favorite. The guy who has been arguably the best player in college football this year.

I don't think everyone is against him.  Only certain posters and many gator fans, but obviously gator fans are going to be against an FSU guy so take that with a grain of salt.

I think it is certainly possible that he may not win it if they haven't decided whether to charge him or not, just don't think it is as certain as you.


I've seen fans defend Jameis certainly, but I've also seen a lot of FSU fans in wait and see mode. My opinion is there are so many rumors with little known facts that none of us should be proclaiming anything until we get more facts.
