Guys, calm the hell down. We had the most cap left even after the Malik signing. Sure, would have rather seen Ivory at 4-5M, us giving him 6-7 isn't going to hurt us very much. This also means we gain another 3.5 from Toby if I'm not mistaken.

 

It will be a split in two of carries. Ivory may not be focal back, but he'll be getting half the carries. Dude is vicious.

Hes turning 28 this month.. we just gave over 6 mill to a 28 year old decent RB when we drafted a starting RB in the early 2nd round last year.. dear god.. all the hype of jackson and maybe vernon has been sucked out from me this is a beyond clueless signing

Toby was around 5 million and now he's cut. This is a great move. I'm surprised a day 1 move though.


Really would love to see attention shifted to FS and CB.

Bruce chose the most money and I don't blame him.

My guess is the Jags initially had the best offer or figured to have the best offer, hence him starting to follow all the jag fans. Raiders sweetened the pot and we didn't. I'm fine with not signing him, as long as they get a few other good players in FA. Can't sign everyone.

Damn guys, I'm not sure if we can recover after this boneheaded move by Dave. Just a MASSIVE overpay. 6M for a very solid ideal compliment to our starter? No guy should get paid more than 2M at RB to be a compliment.

End of the day...The only one who can truly be upset is Shad Khan. It is his money and i'm sure he is chilling on his yacht with a cigar saying everyone chill out and let me spend.
