Quote:Isn't Illoka more of a SS though? That's my worry. Feel like we'd be more inclined for the latter 2 even though I like Illoka more.he isnt an in the box borderline extra LB kinda safety. Peep this excellent breakdown of him by an analyst i like and trust a lot http://presnapreads.com/2016/03/04/nfl-free-agency-2016-george-iloka-is-a-safety-built-for-the-modern-game/ We show less advertisements to registered users. Ive been talking this nonstop on here i know but just think about the amount of field that can be covered by any combination of
Iloka/Ramsey Iloka/Sample Iloka/Karl/Darian/JSimmons Thats just super exciting imo
yeah, we gotta get a safety for sure. I welcome Nelt back
You Gotta Be Able To Run Da' Rock~
I'm still a bit shocked about Irvin.
Like what the Raiders are doing in their rebuild aswell though
Just woke up and found out about Irvin. Well, it happens, I just wished we paid the Raiders back by stealing Osemele ahah (not going to happen I know).
Looking forward to today, hopefully we'll be in good position for Vernon and I'm really curious to see what happens with interior linemen for the offense and how (and if) we'll address CB and safety too. Will be a long day! We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today!
Quote:We need one solid OL signing to really help the run game... If/when we lock that up... My god.... Yeldon/Ivory vs Allen/Allen/Thomas... Pick your poison. I agree, but don't forget, there are some very fine OGs available in the draft. In my mind, every time we sign a defensive free agent, we free up a mid round pick for a guard.
I hate the Raiders...
Ivory is good though. He's proven and should rotate with Yeldon well. We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today!

@AdamSchefter Biggest CB domino expected to fall after new league year kicks off: Rams CB Janoris Jenkins is poised to join NY Giants, sources tell ESPN.

Quote:Means we have to fight off Oakland and San Fran for SmithFortunately Hayward has been my top corner wish this whole time (I'd still absolutely love Boykin for the slot too but I know that isn't happening). Let's pair up House and Hayward again! Quote:Fortunately Hayward has been my top corner wish this whole time (I'd still absolutely love Boykin for the slot too but I know that isn't happening). I repeat BREAKING NEWS

Quote:How good really is Hayward? I haven't seen him play too much since he left VandyHe is very good. He has mostly played slot cause the Packers DBs are deep, but everyone expects he can play outside well too. https://www.profootballfocus.com/blog/20...y-tracker/ Sort that by position and scroll to CB and see how highly PFF ranked him. Slightly higher than Trumaine and Janoris. https://www.profootballfocus.com/blog/20...s-of-2016/ #14 on their overall FA list. Sean Smith is #4 but I worry about his age and the fact that bigger DBs typically wear down faster. I'd rather get a very slightly worse corner that will probably have significantly more longevity.

Smith is 28, if you're worried about getting a CB that's 28... dang. I wanted Jenkins to come here so bad but I never saw Jacksonville rumored to get him, just LA/Oakland and now NYG. Feelsbadman. I'll take Smith runner up in a heartbeat though. Really really hurts seeing Oakland's name pop up all over the place being as that last year was the first year they did decent, much like us. Especially since JDR coached here before.
