Adam Schefter: "Chris Ivory is expected to sign with the Jacksonville Jaguars".

#61

Funnily enough, Ivory had probably the worst yp/c game of his career last year against the Jags average just 1.1 yard per carry (26 yards total) on 23 carries.

More importantly imho, we have a RB with Mojo escapability.

Spins, jukes, power thru and basically leaving folks stumbling over their supporters.

Power Football is  back in style boyz and girlz

When we start converting on 3rd and scoring more TDS inside the red zone because of Ivory, everyone will see why we paid him . Love this signing.

Quote:Dave is a real dummie for getting another quality RB. Next thing you know, Dumb Dave will get another pass rusher. What a dunce.

You can understand the skepticism after Caldwell's acquisition of Toby Gerhart, right? At least give the guy that.

Gerhart was a career backup. With minimal NFL tape.

Ivory has had 2 teams and increased his play the last few years. I thought Nola was foolish to let him go/

Not even close to the same FA acquisition .

With the moves the Jags are making and the positive outlook from last years offense, I will be buying a season ticket in the nosebleed section so that I can have first shot at getting a home playoff ticket(s).

Love it.

Whoever said he runs "vicious" nailed it. You're going to love this guy.

Season Ticket holder since 2004. Smile

You don't have to buy a season ticket to purchase a playoff ticket. Will you be paying more than face? Absolutely, but they are for sale.

If this is indeed true then I will not bust your sacks anymore about watching on TV. Welcome to the Jungle. If you sign up now I think you can get like 7-8 month interest free payment plan.

I like the signing. The guy runs with attitude. He possesses "Love of the game". A key attribute our team covets.

Simple laws of supply and demand. A Jaguar season ticket holder realizes he can get triple face value for a ticket and sells them online. Person without season tickets now has playoff tickets.

Anyhow, back to the topic...

Quote:Short yardage for 6 million?????? I'm just not a guy that believes in paying for backs. He's good but nothing special.

Yep, he had 1,070 yards last year on 925 carries

You just knew Caldwell had to give you one silly free agent deal that would be stupid in the long run. At 6 mil it makes Yeldon in the 2nd look dumb considering all those other players we could've drafted. Pretty sure it will be just a good of a back in this draft taken in the late rounds.

You mean  247 carries? 50+ carries a game seems like a lot.
