Sean Smith has never been tied to the Jags. It's just Jags fans wanting him because he's one of the top guys.

 

Oakland meanwhile has been in play for almost everyone so far. It's mind boggling because they are on the same level as Jags and have JDR as their coach.

 

Must be the guy from Seattle that is attracting them. Oh well. We'll prob miss on Vernon too, book it.

True I know what you mean, but still I think he's gotten a lot better than he was in college. Time will tell though, I think he's going to be an amazing corner if he stays on the good side.

 

 

  There's no question he's a very talented player and has certainly been much more responsible in the NFL than in College.

 

  My gut feeling though is J. Jenkins would be better off playing in a smaller market,  away from his roots.    In terms of market size,  Jenkins is now playing in the largest market in the U.S..   Hopefully,  he can avoid the temptation of the lure of  Midtown Manhattan.

I think him possibly staying in LA and then ultimately going to NYG was part of it. That huge market. He'd be in a much smaller market than LA even if he went to Jax.

  For most players with J. Jenkins'  troubled background before he reached the NFL,  Jacksonville would be a good option relatively speaking.  For Jenkins though,  because of his Florida roots,  I think he would be better off staying far away from individuals that contributed to him having major issues.

Thought he took less to stay in N.Y.

 

  He apparently did.  But the interest that the Cardinals and Giants both showed in him in terms of financial commitment was greater than I anticipated.   Especially,  after watching him struggle with tackling.

I think an additional factor is this isn't one of the better crops of WRs both in Free Agency and in the Draft.   Supply and demand.
