Glad to see the ACC Champtionship Game hasn't taken off since leaving Jacksonville.  My worst fear was FSU vs VaTech

Yea,  I remember people suggesting that Jacksonville was a bad location for it.  I went one year, Georgia Tech (with Calvin Johnson) vs. Wake Forest.  Horribly boring game.  I think it was like 9-3.  Any idea if the attendance has gone up over the years?  I mean GT vs. Wake wasn't exactly the kind of match-up the city was hoping for when they won the rights to the first few games.

That GA Tech vs Wake game was about the worst matchup ever.  GaTech has an enrollment of 15,000 students of which 85% are engineers that care more about getting A's then winning a football game --- how dare they !!  I think the Wake enrollment is ~ 3,000 students.    + it was nasty weather that day.

 

The game went to Tampa but didn't do much better ... then it relocated to NC.   Duke fans would rather see a basketball game and FSU fans are saving for Pasadena !!!

Poor Duke. I hope FSU doesn't put up 70+ on them. Does anyone that's realistic think Duke has an actual chance??

I bought tickets for 12 the other day. From what I understand though Duke and FSU sold their full allotment of tickets. Duke within a few hours. It's just hard to fill up an NFL sized stadium. As for WFU, they have about 7,000 students.

If Duke is willing to strap on pads. they've got a chance. Jamison Crowder has been incredible. Jerry Rice like production.
