Quote:Giants still have ~23 million cap left after signing JPP/Jenkins/Harrison. Doesn't theoretically take them out of the Vernon sweepstakes, but they'd be getting fairly cash strapped if they got Vernon for 15+.

Yep, roughly $7 million will have to go the to draft class, so they'd be right up against the cap if they sign Vernon.

Quote:Oh okay. I just know part of our cap space is going towards extending our young guys eventually and know OBJ was drafted with ARob.

Beckham as a first rounder, has that fifth year. Bortles will too.

<p class="">Harrison’s deal is worth $9.25M per year with $24M guaranteed and $30M over the first three years. Fantastic deal for a fantastic player.

Rand Getlin (NFL Network) is tweeting that Houston has agreed in principle with Houston.

This doesn't scare me if true.

Quote:Says who? They said if they had to slide over they can. You're putting an awful lot of stock in coach talk that also said it was "built" last year.
So what exactly is your solution? The point is that there is gaping hole at center/LG right now. There are no good centers in free agency. They have to sign a guard or draft a center. I do not want to see a rookie center starting for us next year.

Good catch

I'm not going to change it.  I like it better that way.
