Im not sure we should worry about Brock just yet. He could be a complete flop

Quote:Did they? Losing Brooks and getting Allen is a wash, Lamar Miller is good, but not better than Foster has been...and Osweiler who the heck knows.

Seems like they are pretty lateral to how they've always been.

Oh yeah and they lost their starting C.
Miller didnt do [BLEEP] against us in week 2

Funniest part of that tweet is Mark Dominick drafted Barron in the top ten and he was a bust in Tampa. Now a high paid starter in St Louis.

I agree. I don't like Brock at all but it just goes to show that you need to strike while the iron is hot.

This.

I'm not sold on Brock. He's just "fine" imo. Probably won't be a huge upgrade. Overall, their O-Line is currently worse than it was, though there's plenty of time to make another move there. Ultimately, maybe SLIGHT improvement, but nothing drastic.

LOL These Texans moves do not make me nervous. Let them overspend on an unproven QB. Miller is an upgrade but not a game changer.

It's certainly a risky contract. Yet, considering the difficulty of getting a QB when you don't expect to pick high up in the draft in the foreseeable future, I understand the decision. Especially, when you are in a division in which the other 3 teams are set at QB.

Vernon's decision will tell you a lot about the current state of the Jaguars.

OL Jeff Allen's deal with the Texans: four years, $14 million, source says.

^Not a bad deal, we must not have been too interested.

Not really. The texans did nothing in the playoffs. Watt is a year older and paid Brock like a proven qb. If he is the same level of hoyer that is advantage us with a better defense. Ive always been a fan of build a team that can last 6-8 and win a ring when your window opens rather than try toswing for the fence every year. The texans appear to be swinging hard right now.
