Man, I sure would like to have this kid in teal. He's got all kinds of physical talent, but his leadership in the huddle is what makes him special, me thinks.

That's one heck of a find in the 3rd round.

2012 draft for the Seahawks netted them 10 picks, 8 of whom are still with the team. The other two, Jaye Howard (KC) and Winston Guy (Jax) are still in the NFL. If that wasn't enough, they even picked up a UDFA, WR Jermaine Kearse, who is playing.

Gene drafted Blackmon, Branch, Anger (a punter IIRC), Brandon Marshall, Mike Harris and Jeris Pendleton who is now 30 years old, BTW and picked up Mike Brewster as a UDFA.

Season Ticket holder since 2004. Smile

I've been saying this for months, Wilson is by far the best QB in the 2012 draft, everyone likes to make excuses for Andrew Luck (because of the team he's on) while discounting the impact of Russell Wilson (because of the team he's on), true franchise QB's makes everyone around them better, Wilson does it consistently, Luck doesn't.

Here's the thing about Andrew Luck so far.  He's a jack of all trades, and you know the rest...

On the Wilson topic ... A lot of QB's you can watch a single game, and be impressed by how good they can be, A lot take it a step beyond that. There are multiple games that QB's like Rivers, Cutler, Dalton (even Flacco to a degree) ...etc play games that impress to the most. Wilson looks like that, but you can see the possibility that he can sustain that level of play consistently.

He's on his way to being the winningest QB in his first two seasons. While his passing yards are decent, his TD passes and total TDs are the best since Dan Marino. I don't care how good Seattle defense is, they found a true gem in Wilson.
