It would have to be 3 1st cause the 31 pick is basically a second rounder. Next year's and the year after would be considerably lower.

And "reasonable" doesn't mean cheap.

 

We're signing sure starters who are good players.  Not backups we hope could start, or washed up vets as in the past.

 

I can't complain so far.  Really solid for being so active early, when many teams go off the deep end.

Probably partly, he dealt with a high ankle sprain for much of the season. But maybe not, therein lies part of the risk that McLeod didn't have.

Damn straight man. Gipson fits a huge need. We need pass rushers, and I don't want to rely on Fowlers as the only LEO, but I feel a hell of a lot better with Gipson/Fowler combo than Fowler and Sergio Brown back there...lol

Most definitely! I think we will try to find another Leo somewhere. But I don't want to be limited if he happens to go down again.

So we still are in the market for Bosa, Jack, Hargreaves and Ramsey, with Gipson if they like Ramsey as a CB tho I think he is a FS

I disagree here. Gipson is only 25, I think either the same age or younger than McLeod, and has been regarded as one of the best safeties in the NFL already. McLeod is very good and had a real good year, but I'd take Gipson. Gipson was even cheaper too.
