It would shock me more if they win 7 games than go 0-16.  LOL

Ayers, Prince, and resigning Wiz would be a good way to wrap up the FA class.

Wilbon is obviously smoking crack. They won 3 games last year and have lost 4 starters (2 pro bowlers) and counting.

<p class="">While the Broncos try to close the Kaepernick trade, they're formulating backup plans. Have been in touch with agent for Ryan Fitzpatrick.

Quote:Yep. It's just weird because you rarely ever hear him talk about trades. So I think he's got something he's going to try to work on.

Agreed, definitely struck me as a bit out of character for him. I won't get my hopes up for that though

I've said before I think Fitz is their best available option

Elway seems to disagree. I wonder how Kaepernick would fair in a Kubiak system...

Quote:Just watched the Caldwell presser. Anyone think he will trade for someone? If so who? I only bring it up because Caldwell brought it up twice in the interview, not a reporter.

I noticed that too. Quite unDave-like. Made me wonder if it was a slip or he was just flat out saying that it could be possible for the right person right price type thing if it were to happen. It's a make or break year for Gus for sure. Dave may feel the heat too. Hopefully he's safe. But when the owner expects wins this year, Dave may do a few things he may not normally do. Like, offer Vernon the amount that he did. Also notice he said that was "out of his comfort zone".

Wouldn't surprise me if we traded for someone, they seem to be going all out this year. It's the first year the pressure has been really on Gus and Dave.

I agree. Not the best long term answer, but until they find someone better...

Whoever the Broncos get, it'll be interesting watching them this year.

Maybe he's planting an early seed for the draft

I've said it before, if NE wants to get a high draft pick back then I would gladly take Chandler Jones off their hands for our 2nd rounder.

I'd do that trade. Get Jack and this D looks real good on paper.

What position you think is worth trading for

Possibly. But that's not how I took it. But then again I could have been hoping to land some big time player.

DE. Like Husto said, Chandler Jones is a good option.

A MLB might be an option but I think we draft Jack for that
