Quote:I thought he played for the Falcons. Anyway Dallas is as good a place as any to get a backup guard from. Could potentially start on other teams.

In addition to the size/  physical style of play factor,  one added benefit is he's been durable for a long period of time.

Quote:Maybe Parnell gave them some good info on him....
yeah I certainly would think so. It would sure be nice to have some veteran depth on oline. Instead of undrafted free agents.

Yeah he's likely just taking Beadles spot as a backup guard.

Quote:Why?
cause its rare to see so many on one team let alone that are gonna be the 1-3 WRs. I'm white. It's not a racist thing. Just kinda funny.

THey may draft a guard to start at some point behind this guy, but not have to start him right away.

To me this is the thinking. A stop gap guy to start while they groom a second or third round draft pick behind him.

Never having heard of a guard who has started 46 games is a plus in my book

Lol. You have been posting tweets like a champ and always come in a half a second after someone else. I appreciate all the effort! Smile

Gotta think they're signing. You don't hang out for 2 full days after bypassing a scheduled visit to not sign.

Agreed. Sounds like they are hammering out a contract.
