Both flew in last night and I don't think Amukumara even met with the team until today. I do think both will end up signing here though.

Ayers got here last night and didn't have a visit until today. Amukamara got here late last night. Wouldn't consider them being here two full days.

Ayers got here last night and didn't have a visit until today. Amukamara got here late last night. Wouldn't consider them being here two full days. 

Ayers at least had dinner with Dave Gus and the 4 FA last night. Prince didn't have any contact w/ the team until this morning so I don't even think he counts for half a day yet.

Ayers was on his way here from Tampa at like 2pm yesterday. And was supposed to visit Miami but came here instead.


So ok, a day and a half.


And I was mainly referring to Ayers on the time frame

I don't even care that much, but I wouldn't say being here since 3-4PM yesterday while not actually take his physical/going to the facility to talk with everyone/actually take a visit til today means that much*.

 

I'm hopeful, but until I hear someone saying we're actually making progress towards a deal it's tough.

So... we signed Malik, who played with Ayers, so Malik can work his magic convincing Ayers, who can then turn to his former teammake in Amukamara and do the same.

Haha I got you, someone has to bring the optimism down a bit though with them not locks. I'm hopeful but I feel like a lot of people are basically putting Ayers into our depth chart already. Lot of options out there for him.
