Quote:Lee and a 3rd for Chandler Jones seems like an okay deal I would just hate to do business with Bellichick because he'd find a way to turn that draft pick into a sure fire all pro. Quote:I would normally agree but Jones has at least proven himself in the league and isn't some one year wonder. I'd do the trade but I think long and hard about it. Former patriots rarely set the world alight. Quote:@daltdixon2 I always gave Dave a pass. But if this team struggles again due it lack of pass rush because it's relying on 2 rookies. Everyone goes. Dalton lol. Love that kid.
Trade Poz and a 5th for Kirksey and Mingo. Move Skuta to Leo, Sign Zach Brown, Draft Jack

I get losing out Mario/Irvin because you were working on your #1 target in Vernon, but our backup plan in Ayers is now going somewhere else on what seems to be a very reasonable deal after we had him in the building. Dave is a pretty good GM and it's obvious he knows we need to get better edge players since we've been going after them all free agency, so there has to be at least something cooking with trades because it makes zero sense otherwise.
Quote:Our 1st and 2nd for Von Miller? I know it'd never happen but I'd do it.Ugh no.
It's Free Agency. You don't buy your team. We're filling needs because we can't fill them all with the draft, but stop acting like we should get every single player just because we have cap.
You've seen all the reports of whose spent the most in the last 10 years. Where we at because of it. I wanted Ayers, but stop acting stupid. We need a veteran pass rusher, but there was legit 2 guys on market. There's 32 teams. Just because we have the most money doesn't mean everyone doesn't have plenty to spend. If we didn't feel comfortable going that much on Ayers, it shows what we thought of his season last year. We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today!
I dont think Dave is making any trades. He was practically wetting his pants over Skuta today.
Quote:Trade for Mingo. Rumor has it, Dave was thinking about it at the deadline. Plus, browns giving away the enitre team.you didnt like Ayers but you want to tade for Mingo? Lol Quote:Our 1st and 2nd for Von Miller? I know it'd never happen but I'd do it. It would take WAY more than that.

The Browns are almost certainly going to be taking a QB and Ramsey will be gone when we pick. I personally like Myles Jack but ehhh. We show less advertisements to registered users. It's just strange.

I'm surprised the #Jaguars didn't get Robert Ayers done at those numbers. $19.5 mil over three with potential to reach $21 mil isn't crazy. We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today!
Quote:And rookie pass rushers are not effective their first year. Like, ever. Aldon Smith, Jevon Kearse, Julius Peppers all had strong rookie seasons. We don't need that year one. We need a guy that can spell Fowler and get maybe 5-8 sacks. There are guys like that in this draft. But I hear you. Always better to have a guy who has shown the ability before.
Only a chump boos the home team!
