Quote:Many supporters of Trump (and Obama) feel oppressed. Maybe they are, maybe not. It doesn't matter whether they are right or wrong, public opinion has a strong voice. Please explain further, because I am trying to understand this Trump phenomenon. Why do you say Trump supporters feel oppressed? In what way are they oppressed?
Quote:Trump actually lied about knowing who David Duke is and stated he would have to do further "research" when it was initially bought to his attention Duke is a grand wizard of the KKK. Unmittigated falsehood Quote:Please explain further, because I am trying to understand this Trump phenomenon. Why do you say Trump supporters feel oppressed? In what way are they oppressed? If ww dont comply with the states view of religion we can be barred from commerce. Our first amendment rights are deemed second class to supporters of statism. Should civil rights ever trump religious rights in your opinion?
Quote:[quote name="jj82284" post="714077" timestamp="1457960531"] Civil rights should not trump property rights in my opinion. You can do or say anything you want to on your own property, but we now live in a world where owners are forced to acquiesce to the demands of the mob. “An empty vessel makes the loudest sound, so they that have the least wit are the greatest babblers.”. - Plato

When two people have differing views on religious expression, freedom means that each person or group can express their religious beliefs free from impedement.
At current, if i dont violate my beliefs and PARTICIPATE in secular progressivism i can be barred from commerce. Thats not the intetaction of rights, its prevailing tyranny

Interesting that you defend property rights when Trump thinks Imminent Domain is a great thing.
Quote:Unmittigated falsehood So Trump knew all along who David Duke is?

When you look at the exact time line of when was first brought up two or three days before the CNN interview with the first time he was asked about that particular endorsement Etc he immediately using the words specifically I disavow i completely disavow. The only question is about a 45 second interval 2 Days Later where he says that his earpiece wasn't working and he only heard the term groups he then went on to say that he had no knowledge of any contact with any group whatsoever any white supremacist group David Duke or anyone else and that if CNN wanted a specific dishes all he needed a list. That's not refusing to disavow the KKK that's not being able to hear the specifics of a question and stating empathically that he had absolutely no knowledge of contact with David Duke white supremacist groups. Notice we're not talking about some damning email that shows that he was coordinating his candidacy with white supremacist of the KKK we're talking about a play on words on a Sunday show when did candid it says that is ear peace wasn't working

Ok... Thats what i said its what the candidate said. He said i disavow i dont know and have never met who yore talking about.
Hillary clinton credits robert byrd as a mentor, high up in the kkk. Bill clintons mentor j william fullbright was a segregationist, clinton attended a segregated golf course, signed a bill honoring the confederate flag, had the confederate flag displayed on campaign merchandise, etc. Wheres the outrage?
Quote:Ok... Thats what i said its what the candidate said. He said i disavow i dont know and have never met who yore talking about. You do know Byrd had completely changed his views on race and supported Obama for president in 2008 right? which is why Hilary was respectful of him. http://www.politico.com/blogs/ben-smith/...ama-008895 As for Bill, the majority of African americans support him, but also take issue with him for implementing the 3 strikes law which has imprisoned just as many black people during his presidency than Regan. That is where most black people's outrage is at with him.
