I seems they are going to commit to a Caldwell style "blow-up-and-start-over" plan.

They also followed the Jags' model in hiring an analytics guy. None other than Paul DePodesta of Moneyball fame. He'll be their "chief strategy officer."

Gonna' get ugly for a couple of years in Cleveland.

And trading Joe Thomas makes sense for both parties.

And yes, it will be very ugly over the next couple years. We can relate.

I just question whether the brass in Cleveland can conjure up the patience to get through this. The more I read the worse I feel for Browns fans.

If the Browns are cleaning house, hit em up for Kruger and Mingo. Hook'em up with one of our 6ths and a 7th.... Boom.

Paul Brown is turning over in his grave. It's gonna get ugly? It's be ugly since Timmy Sofa.
Only a chump boos the home team!

I feel for them too, and who knows if they find the patience? Gonna be tough sledding through a long re-build.

You're right. It has been. I should have said "gonna get worse before it gets better" to be more accurate.

The Browns have been a losing franchise way longer then the Jags, those fans are use to it

They can trade Thomas and a 4th rounder for a 1st round pick, then have two first round picks. You can't go wrong there right? Doubles your chances at a stud!

This post actually made me feel bad for browns fans.
Coughlin when asked if winning will be a focus: "What the hell else is there? This is nice and dandy, but winning is what all this is about."

#Seahawks are signing OL J'Marcus Webb to a 2-yr, $6.25M deal with $2.5M guaranteed, per @cameragryl. Webb's pumped & driving to sign it now

One of my long-time brokers is a huge Chicago fan...the only reason I know who J'Marcus Webb is is because he used to rail incessantly about how bad this guy was at LT. So, for you guys who think Joeckel is the absolute worst...go watch some footage of Webb playing LT for the Bears...I guarantee you'll feel better about Luke afterwards. Tongue
