I'd go best available DE on Dave's board. Dodd, Lawson, Ogbah, Spence, Floyd. Whoever he thinks has a chance of being a beast in this league.
Shock the world
If the worst case scenario happens and the top 3 targets are gone along with Tunsil, Caldwell needs to do everything in his power to trade back. I've got to believe that one of the teams in serious need of a quarterback like S.F. and the Rams would be very willing to trade up. Contact both teams and see who makes the best offer. Moving back 2 spots to pick 7 would get them an extra 2nd or 3rd while moving back to 15 would not only give them an extra 2nd this year but a 1st next year.
No doubt I'd rather have Bosa or Jack, but these 2 alternatives would be fine with me. 1. Trade with Rams: Take Spence at 15 (if they believe he will stay clean) or Lawson/Dodd if not convinced about Spence. With their two 2nd rounders, they take the best available interior lineman (Kelly or Whitehair) and the best OTTO (Jenkins/Perry/?) Bonus of an extra 1st rounder next year (probably top 15) which would put this team over the top. 2. Trade with S.F. At pick 7, they have their pick of Spence/Lawson and Dodd. Stick with same two 2nd rounders as above. 1st trade is obviously much better, but nothing wrong with moving back only 2 spots to get the same guy you'd take at five and get an extra 2nd.
Apparently Kaepernick does not want to go to the Browns. Most likely hoping the Broncos pick him up. If the worst happens and no QB's are taken in the first 4 picks, here is my prediction
1. Titans - Tunsil 2. Browns - Ramsey 3. Chargers - Stanley The Chargers will take Ramsey if he falls to 3, ie the Browns take a QB, but they like the Cowboys think they can win right now and they desperately need OL help 4. Cowboys - Bosa Again a team that is in win right now mode. No QB and they need DL help. 5. Jaguars - Myles Jack If somehow Ramsey, Bosa, and Jack are all gone. The Jags can trade with a team desperate for a QB or draft Buckner We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today!

Nope, Nope, Nope. Pull an Accorsi.
If Browns take either Carson or Wentz, draft the other and hold S.F. or LA hostage. Lighting can strike twice ;-) HeadSlap
When they have no time, they think about it!
When they go down hard, they think about it! Just watch Peyton, Andrew, Caep even Mr. Bundchen.
I really want Jack, but I'd take Lawson at five if the above scenario takes place, heck I'd even take Lawson over Bosa at this point, just feel he's a better Leo fit and to me has a higher ceiling than Bosa.

I understand the desire to trade down and get more picks but this is in all likelihood the last time we are picking in the top 5-10 for the foreseeable future. With Bortles' progression and the talent added in FA, this is our last chance to grab a "top" player like a Jack/Bosa/Ramsey. Yes, I know you can find studs anywhere in the draft but unless we are getting a king's ransom to move down, you stay and take the top 5 player.
