Jason Jones, Mike Neal, Dwight Freeney, and Junior Gallette if you're willing to ignore his transgressions.

It doesn't appear we are signing a pass rusher that will make any significant impact. Maybe we make a trade (apparently we were interested in Chandler Jones, maybe there's someone else) but we'll have to rely on a healthy Marks and Jackson/Fowler entering into the fold. Not ideal but we'll have to live with it for this year.

We went hard after Vernon but he wanted NY. Ayers wanted playing time. Long wanted a contender. Caldwell gave it his best shot.

I wouldn't mind giving Freeney a shot.

I'm thinking he's holding out for a contender to come calling, but he'd be a good 3rd down pass rusher.

@ProFootballTalk Junior Galette stays with Washington, per source. It's a one-year deal worth up to $4 million.

Same as Weddle. Wants a championship. Patriots over Ravens but....

If Weddle is expecting a ring, he is going to be horribly disappointed.

Should the Jaguars make an offer for Denver's ILB Brandon Marshall?   If Denver didn't match the offer the Jaguars would have to give up a 2nd round, but those doubting Poz's health this upcoming season & beyond...

curious what people think about it...

For a player we originally drafted? Basically have to draft him again? No thank you.

Im totally fine not trading for Jones, rather keep our second rounder, third round Id think alot harder on but its also too late now anyways so oh well.

Two year deal with $4.5 million in the first year that can go up to $6 million with incentives. There is also a $10 million roster bonus in the second season, so we'll have to make a decision on that come next offseason.

I'm glad it's a 2 year deal. If he takes over the starting job and performs like he's capable of, he's worth the $10 million bonus.

@RapSheet #Raiders will re-sign LT Donald Penn today, source said. He was scheduled to fly to the #Giants today, but he'll never get on the plane

Hays Carlyon is a clown. He's been crying about the Jags not getting Vernon all week and saying that the Texans are one of the big winners of Free Agency.

Yeah him, Ryan O'Halloran and Alfie are a broken record on that. Can't get over the pass rusher thing (and i get it partially)and whatever we do now they are criticizing that based on their grudge..I also read Ryan O'halloran Yesterday saying Beachum will be a backup as Joeckel is that much better.

Also they are all Jalen Ramsey fanboys, if we don't draft him (and I want Jack) Alfie is going to have another meltdown ahah Big Grin

I totally agree but I understand why he signed there. They have only missed the playoffs twice in the past 10 years?

I don't.

When you make a statement that you want to go to a Contender, why sign with the 5-11 team who is the 3rd best team in their own division?

Sure, they missed three times in the last 10 years.... twice in the last 3, and nothing about them says the arrow is pointing up.

Personally, I think he should have gone with Pittsburgh, but they got distracted chasing someone else over the weekend and didn't really stay with him.

Baltimore.. Hey, at least we're not the Browns!
