I'm going by the comics. Plenty of opportunity for the show to follow suit. Even in the comics, Negan seemed much more in control of things amongst his own people and is not someone who really needed a bunch of yes men to make his world work. He is more... do what I say or I will bash your brains in. But he says it in such a jovial manner, it's fantastic. Tough shoes for any actor to fill, but there is so much material for the screen writers to work with. I would be surprised if he doesn't intimidate our little band of survivors in ways the Governor only aspired to. The Governor wanted to kill them to take the prison. Negan wants to whip them into submission so they will scavenge for his people.

That is lame as hell. Hopefully the final shot is of the group kneeling and crying before their dead friend. Just like the comics. A cliffhanger would really piss me off.

Yes, the group thats kneeling consists of Rick, Daryl, Glenn, Maggie, Abraham, Carl, Rosita. Might be more. They are all kneeling before negan, he put the bat to each person's head and finally decides on one. But they never show us the person who gets beat, next season, sorry lol

Yeah I've seen that as well. About the Negan bashing being a cliffhanger. That's such a drag but you know it's going to drive the fanbase absolutely insanse for six months until the next season premier. I still think they need to pull off two deaths to make this fair and square. Again, in the comics it's probably a bit different. But you can't deny the fact that Rick and his group have absoultely hammered Negan's group. Right now the count is probably like

 

Rick's Team: 30 Kills

Negan's Team: 1 Kill

 

That's astronomically different. I think Negan's group will probably kill off somebody like Abraham, Eugene or possibly even Carol or Morgan. And then leave you hanging with wondering if Negan bashed in Glenn or Daryl at the finale. I don't see him breaking his character and killing off a woman. So I am ruling Machionne out. THEN AGAIN. You never know with these guys. It's evident that Maggie more than likely just miscarried and lost the baby. If you really want to stick a knife and hurt the fanbase's feelings though. They kill off Judith somehow in a melee or shootout with explosions at Alexandria. That would fire up the fans.

I can't see it being Morgan after what transpired this past episode. I also hope it isn't him. I am really growing to like his character and I think big things are in store for him down the road.
