Blaine Gabbert To Start Sunday

Quote:You sound like me when I'm watching the Jaguars with Henne behind center. I have to laugh to keep from crying. At least with Gabbert in the team occasionally tries to win a game instead of Henne and his checkdown after checkdown and the knowlege that I'm watching a guy in Henne play that should be out of the league.

Both qb's are very guilty of checking down.  Neither should be a starter in the league.  I hate that each of these qb's actually have supporters.  It's like asking which is better, the dentist or the DMV.

Checkdown Chad.

Even the name just sounds right. That anyone would want to see that in the game is what really amazes me.

We don't want to see either in the game.  Check down Blaine and Check down Chad.  They are like twins.

Breakdown Blaine.

Even the name sounds right. Everytime he steps on the field our team begins to  break down.

Saying that Gabbert doesn't checkdown while Henne does is like the pot calling the kettle black.  I personally don't want to watch either of these qbs play pop warner style football.  It's like watching paint dry or grass grow.

No, Gabbert throws more than he should, too.

Henne, though, the guy is just a machine. It's all he does, and on the off chance he does go down the field it's a terrible throw.

If Chad Henne is a check down machine with a career 6.67 YPA, what does that make Blaine with a career YPA of 5.51?

Quote:Blaine adds some humor to the games. I've gone beyond frustration to just laughing out loud at how obnoxiously bad a lot of his throws are. This should be a good week.

We doing it BIG....Florida State bringing that SWAG back in 2013!!!!

Don't bring those facts up in here... His blind love for Blaine will just throw them out anyway.

What he also doesn't seem to get it is that NO ONE LIKES HENNE

Chad Henne's average completion per pass is 11.31 yards.

Blaine Gabbert's average completion per pass is 10.31 yards.

Again oklahomie, what you say makes zero sense.

It's so funny when people pull up an unrelated stat and act like it means something.

I guess yard per completion is unrelated as well...

Why is this even an argument? You guys are arguing about two subpar QBs. Neither get the job done.

I agree, I find myself laughing....laughter is good medicine when you feeling down about how bad this team is.

It is.

When you find a site that lists how far the ball was thrown in the air during the non garbage time parts of games you'll have what you need.

For me, I can believe my eyes, and my eyes the last two weeks have been telling me that Henne's favorite target is the fullback.

Passing yards, win-loss record, QBR and Total QBR are also unrelated.  The only stat that matters is how much you want to please your teammates.

My gawd... Thats what someone has to go look up for you just to realize that a journeyman like Henne is only slightly worse than Gabbert.

They are both bad man... They both suck very bad. No one wants either of them to be our QB next year.
