Trump Can't Win

Quote:Trump flip flopping, hardly a surprise. Sometimes it's tough being a populist, obviously read the mood slightly wrong...

I don't think we've ever agreed more on a post.

Quote:Second, killing a newborn is murder right?

Naw, it's just post-birth abortion.

Quote:And Ted Cruz and John Kasich already commented on the Trump's comments.  They disagreed with his sentiments.  I'm pro-choice, and I've always thought it was kind of strange how people call Abortion murder.

There are many who completely refuse to acknowledge a mother's sovereignty over her body, including a fetus on the receiving end of an umbilical cord attached to her. As strange as it may be to you, the idea of abortion not being murder is abhorrent to them.

I don't get it, either, nor do I see any resolution between the two points of view.

It's pretty simple, look up at what point abortion is permitted, then google what a baby looks like at that age.  It's sickening. To call it anything other than a life is ignoring all common sense, which is usually what people do when desperate to justify something.

Am I the only person on the entire planet who can see both sides of the abortion argument?  Both sides have a valid point.

If you want to eliminate abortions, and preserve a woman's right to choose, the only way to do that is to aggressively promote birth control.   It's a win-win.   Unfortunately, no one seems to want to promote this kind of solution.

I think abortions are actually wanted for the medical research benefits.  It's pretty gross if you ask me and a form of human sacrifice, but dont let that stop the baby killing (SORRY, fetus killing) party.

Nobody sets out to get pregnant so they can have an abortion.   If fetuses are used in medical research, that will disappear if we just promote better birth control.

My point is, there is a way to eliminate abortions and preserve a woman's right to choose, and that is, BIRTH CONTROL.

Quote:I call [BAD WORD REMOVED]. If you are truly Pro-Life in which you want Roe Vs Wade reversed, than abortion is murder & thus accordingly women & doctors whom perform said action are guilty of at least 3rd degree murder.

Was Donald Trump caught off guard or should he have sugar coated his answer that part maybe up for debate, but he isnt the typical politician and he tells it how it is...

Look if you really want Pro-Life than that means that its a crime to commit an abortion & thus a penalty.

I felt it was not a gaff on Trumps part, and if Cruz had been asked he wouldve simply dodged the question.

If trump would have just simply said he's pro life except in the case of rape or incest he wouldn't have been trying to climb out of another hole he dug for himself.

Either he doesn't know how to answer basic questions or his flip flopping reverse stances are becoming more glaring.

This option isn't always available in the case of rape or incest.

What about women who are raped? Why should they be forced to keep a child that was created during a criminal act?

The problem is people wont use it, especially condoms.  Plus our culture has constantly pushed the agenda that abortion is just another form of birth control, so why not get pregnant?  It's not a life, so abort.

I'm not saying the women who get the procedure done are WANTING it.  I meant that the medical research community wants it, the rich elite want it so they can keep the dream of eternal life alive.

People always bring this up, but it obviously has little to do with the core issue.  Disallowing abortion except in the instance of rape pregnancy? sure, I'd like that better than what is happening now.

And lie detector test determined that is a lie. It was a long stream of Consciousness hypothetical not just a question about being pro-life or pro-choice.

It's indeterminate exactly when a fetus becomes a person, however one defines that. If there were a definitive answer here then the abortion question would not be controversial. I don't see a small group of cells being a person and most Americans agree with that view, so an abortion very early in the pregnancy is only considered murder by a small subset of Americans. So the best answer to satisfy the most people in the case of rape-induced pregnancy is an immediate "morning after pill." A rape victim doesn't need to wait to find out whether or not she's pregnant before taking preventative action.

As you get to the later stages of pregnancy, where the fetus has arms, legs, a brain, and working internal organs, then a majority of Americans consider abortion wrong (but only a minority of our ruling elderly Ivy League lawyers). There's really no excuse for putting off an abortion for months after the woman knows she is pregnant except if the health of the mother becomes seriously endangered.

So, Barry Obama called Trump ignorant on foreign policy yet is just now admitting the group he once referred to as "J.V" might get their hands on nuclear material. Have we ever had a more clueless president?

Shining endorsement for DT.

And yet one side of the argument wants to limit people's access to health care. Birth control, etc..

And then complain when the person who would be attempting to recognize that bringing a life into the world is not a good idea for them attempts to get a dollar of tax funds to support the life that WAS so important.

Difficult to reconcile with a straight face.
