Would you take this trade on draft day?

#1

Hays Carlyn was on 1010 this morning. He discussed his most recent mock draft in which the Jaguars selected Bosa over Jack at the number 5 spot. Ramsay was already gone. He is obviously very high on Bosa even though he isn't a classic LEO. That being said, he also discussed the possibility of the Jaguars trading back to the Rams since they have two 2nd rounders. He said if they offered the Jags both 2nd rounders, he'd take it in a second. I wasn't clear if he'd do that trade even if one of the top 3 guys (Bosa, Jack, Ramsay) is available. Let's say that one of those guys is available. Would you take this trade dropping 10 spots to get those two extra 2nd's and who would you take with those 3 picks? Personally, I don't think I'd do it if any of those 3 are available. However, if I did my picks would be:

Rd. 1 (15): Lawson or Spence

2: Correa and Kelly (unless Alexander somehow drops)

What about our own original 2nd round pick? Are you forgetting about that one?

Yes ya have no pass rush. However Dave will not because 10 spots will take more then a swap and 2 second rounders.

Definitely need more than two 2nds to drop from 5 to 15.

Yeah, add Karl Joseph to the mix, too.

Noah Spence

Kamalei Correa

Ryan Kelly

Karl Joseph

And then get ready for the 3rd round?

Yeah, I think I'd take that trade in a heartbeat.

Nah, that's a pretty good haul.

That would give us four picks in the first 45. I'll take it.

Slim chance Kelly and Joseph are there in the mid 40s.

Slim chance Bridgewater is available outside of the top 10.

Slim chance you are doing anything else but predicting like the rest of us.

I wouldn't do it. Especially if Jack is there. We need elite talent. Jack is the closest thing in this draft to a player who has the potential to be elite.

Yes, then use all 3 2nd's to move back into the 1st Wink!

Championship!!! lol

In all seriousness, I probably would make that trade; if Jack wasn't there for sure. But it'd be hard to make that call with Jack there....

GO JAGS!!

Let's Get Em!!!! Go Jags!

Jags need to say forget you and trade all their picks to trade up to #1 to get Ramsey. Just like Mike Ditka did with the Saints.

If you trust the draft value charts at all, that would be a great deal for the Jags.

Never argue with idiots. They drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.

Probably not. It's tempting, but I'd want two firsts and change if we're giving up the opportunity to pick someone like Jack. Now if Jack, Ramsey, Bosa all go in the top four, I'd be much more willing to draft back to 15.

It's decent value as we'd end up +270 based off of the charts, but I'd need to be wowed if blue chippers are still on the board, especially when they're at positions of need.

If myles is there no i wouldnt, otherwise yeah.

I want Myles Jack but if he isn't there I would do that trade plus next years 2nd or Robert Quinn. 2 2nd rounders to move down 10 spots isn't good enough.

1-5, for 1-15 and 2-43 and 2-45?  ....I'd take it.

1-15 ...DE Noah Spence (or Leonard Floyd)

2-38 ...OC Ryan Kelly

2-43 ...DT/DE Jonathan Bullard

2-45 ...LB Jaylon Smith
