What player is climbing up your board?

Recently I had VH3 as the 3rd or 4th CB. I now have him 2nd. If Ramsey is drafted as a FS, then VH3 is #1.

Also I have Leonard Floyd falling a few spots.

Shaq Lawson. With the recent Jack quote I may creep him up as my #1 guy to draft.

I want Jack, but would have him falling if not for the Jaylon injury and the drop off after him at the position.  Based on need and no player pushing against his stock atm though, he'll stay put.  I do have VH3 still number 1 at cb but thats only because of overrated players at DB this yr.  After watching cutups, Ramsey has late rd 1 ball skills at best; but is top 5 and VH3 has no tackle bone in his body but has top 10 ball skills, yet is ranked lower than the more physical Ramsey, so hey.  It's all about play strength this yr and not ball skills so my heart and board read differently.

Linebacker Nick Kwiatkoski -- 6-2 1/8, 240 -- stood on his combine numbers. He is a really good athlete who drops well into coverage and moves around better than you might think he would. -Gil Brandt look at WV MILB

For pick #5 I think Vernon Hargreaves III rose a bit for me, but the signing of Prince made me look a bit more towards Joey Bosa.

The Jaguars got killed on the pass more than anything so I guess I am leaning more towards Vernon (and Prince only has a one year contract).

Mine hasn't moved much. I guess if anyone, Lawson has risen a little bit. Maybe jaylon Smith went from a 4th round gamble to a 3rd round gamble for me.
Coughlin when asked if winning will be a focus: "What the hell else is there? This is nice and dandy, but winning is what all this is about."

Shaq Lawson has risen up my board over the past few months but another player Im liking more is Joshua Perry.

Hes been on my radar for a while but i feel he's not getting a lot of play. Would basically be another Poz just with the upside and youth. Would need to come off the field in passing downs, but appears to have the speed and length needed to develop into a good cover backer as well. Could be a mlb or even otto in our scheme due to his size and physicallity.

Dont think hes much of a rusher tho. Mlb would be best fit. 1 missed tackle in 2 years. Insane production. 2nd round grade but could fall to 3rd or 4th due to deep draft and classic thumper lb mold.

Keanu Neal. He's like Ramsey to me. All that athleticism, what if the coaching staff can get his play on the field to match that athleticism?

A player that was sliding a bit but has now started to ascend back toward the top of my board is Bosa.

As time goes on, I think more and more that Hargreaves is a possibility for us.

I am warming up to the idea of picking Hargreaves at #5 if Bosa, Jack, and Ramsey are all off the board.

Reason being, you just can't have enough really good corners.   I think Hargreaves is a guy you can assign to one of the opponent's best WRs, and just take that guy out of the game.   And when you can play man coverage, that frees up an extra defender that you wouldn't have if you played zone back there.  I know we already have Amukamara, Colvin, and House, but injuries happen and we won't always have all 3 of those guys available, and besides, teams can play 4 WRs against us.  PLUS, if we want more sacks, we need to get better coverage.

So, what player is climbing up my board?   Vernon Hargreaves.

But you know what would be really great?   Trading down to about #8 and taking Hargreaves there.

I wonder if they would have drafted Ragland if somebody got Jack first? Him or Correa would be my bet.
