Fowler is more physically gifted and has a higher ceiling imo. I think Bosa is more polished coming out but he doesn't have the ceiling that Fowler does, I don't think it's close tbh.

Sorry but Bosa is like twice the athlete Fowler is (but omg 40 yard dash!). It's pretty much the exact opposite of this haha.

Something about Bosa has made me nervous for months, Im not sure what it is but Id prob go DFJ over him still either way. Not saying Bosa wont be good but IDK just some odd feeling ive had.

Heard some discussions about this on 1010xl a few days ago. Dempsy had a scout on , I forget who, and he basically said that Bosa is overall more physically gifted and dominant compared to Fowler. What do you guys think? Who is the better player and who will have more success in the NFL?

I read where someone mentioned that Bosa is bigger, stronger, and more agile while Fowler is simply faster more of an edge rushing OLB as Bosa is best fitted at LE.  Really hard to compare the two since they are different kind of role guys.

I guess its a matter of opinion, but I've read most people saying Fowler Jr is better hence when he went 3rd overall, yet many argue Bosa is better (but some say Fowler is the better athlete where as Bosa is all effort based)...

I think it's the best topic I've read this week on Jaguars.com message board...

When Fowler Jr. got injured it almost looked like they had him in an LE role.  If that was Fowler Jr.'s role why draft Bosa if he is best suited as an LE too?

I don't think it matters I think the Cowboys are going to draft Bosa at #4 IMO.  I think that their might be a small chance of Tunisl falling to #5 if Titans trade out of 1 overall though.

his off the field problems really arent much of an issue at this point. Hes handled this as well as you can possibly handle it. As for other better players thats just subjective.

I don't mean Bosa literally does his drills twice as fast, but Lawson is 80th percentile, Bosa is 70th percentile, and Fowler was I believe a 30th percentile athlete. Whatever words you want to quantify that gap, it's quite significant. 

 

It's also notable that the gap is really even bigger than that. Bosa's percentile is dragged down by his average performance in the completely useless 40 yard dash, and Fowler's is propped up because his completely useless 40 yard dash was his only standout drill. In the drills that matter for an EDGE (3 cone, broad jump, vertical jump, and short shuttle...3 cone being the single most important by far), Bosa is probably above an 80th percentile athlete and Fowler is probably around 20th. 

 

Does it guarantee that Bosa is going to be a better player? No, and I never said that either. But it sure as heck means there's a much greater chance that he will be, and playing the percentages is all you are doing in the draft anyway.

That's my biggest and really only worry too. Can only see so many things about his love for about partying, raving, and EDM before you start to wonder. Not to mention obviously the ecstasy history.

These two are....interesting. Fowler looked explosive in games, but he only has one explosive trait which was the split (which was off the charts). His jumps weren't special though.

 

Bosa didn't look all that explosive in games, but his split is OK and his jump was better than Fowler. His cod was better too (something very few expected). And watching Bosa do his drills, you definitely see how smooth he is.
