I can't wait until we're at a point we don't have to even imagine such things.

Meh...

Harvey was much worse.  We gave up the 26th overall, two third rounders, and a fourth.

But we weren't done...

We also followed that up with swapping seconds, and giving away a fifth and a future seventh for Quentin Groves.

Two MASSIVE whiffs in the very same draft, for the same role.

That 2008 draft goes down as probably the worst in our history, and I'm not sure it's even close.

Overall, 2008 wasn't a bad draft... but ours surely was.  Some of those draft picks we gave away turned into Joe Flacco, Duane Brown, and Steve Slaton.  And in the end we ended up with absolutely nothing to show from that draft.

Another mistake of that 2008 season was re-signing Garrard.  Which directly lead to being so desperate for a QB when we finally brought in Gabbert.  We had been QB starved for far too long, yet the very picks we traded away were used by Baltimore to get Flacco, when we'd decided we were better off hitching our wagon to Garrard.

Ooof.

I doubt there is a single team in the league, no matter how good, that couldn't play the 'what if game'.
