The Titans trade the pick to LA. Wentz or Goff is coming off the board first.

Wentz

Goff

Tunsil

Ramsey

VH3

Bosa

:woot:

I wonder if you were GM Dave Caldwell with the 5th overall pick, if LT Tunsil is there & your scouts tell you he is the best LT in the draft.  He has the potential of being elite (one of the best LTs in the NFL, ProBowl level) BUT that he will struggle his rookie year just like Blake did but will possibly have the same great 2nd year...

Do you draft him or go for a defensive guy that wont struggle as much in his rookie year to make an immediate impact knowing that your job along with HC Gus Bradley & staff are at risk if you dont win now.. and worry about next year, next year..

Depends on who the other guys available are. If you think Jack or Bosa or Ramsey meet those same criteria then I think you have to go defense.

A lot of people feel that a SAM /SOLB are over rated position of need on the Jaguars considering that the team couldn't stop Qbs from throwing all over the field on them for the last several years.  Opposing teams QBs got happy & Fantasy football fans always played whoever the opposing team QB was against the Jaguars each week with success.

That being said LE Bosa or DB Jalen Ramsey have to have more weight than Myles Jack (unless you truly see him as a Strong Safety Kam Chancellor role in which case I can see the argument of drafting him but keep in mind Kam went in the 5th round because usually a SS isnt a top 5 pick but a shut down corner is.. I just dont see GM Dave Caldwell passing on Jalen Ramsey if he's there at 5.. (which I dont think he'll be there).
