Man United collects 66 million USD per year from Chevrolet. Of course not every NFL team will get that kind of cash but it's a big fat cash cow staring them in the face and IMO it's only a matter of time until the lure becomes too great.

Wonder how that would work anyway. Would the NFL decide which companies are advertised on which teams uniforms? Would this potentially affect prime time scheduling based on advertiser exposure.

Seems like a potential huge can of worms.

Uniforms and logos are under the control of NFL properties, they get final say in what does or does not go onto the uniform. It's why there's no longer a Santa hat on the Jaguars midfield logo for the Christmas game. I'd imagine they'd co-ordinate with the teams before just slapping any old logo on there; don't want the Detroit Lions running around with Toyota all over their jerseys.

True. Only seems natural that stadium sponsor would get first dibs. Should be interesting. They will look like a bunch of NASCAR drivers if Rodg and the owners have their way.

I'm not certain what Viagra's logo is but I sure hope they don't put it on a uniform.

Generic works.  It's cheaper but only holds things firm for 3 hours; not 4 hours like Viagra does.   :woot:
