Eh, found the episode to be lacking.  Maybe I'm alone.  The characters aren't really doing much for me, except Strand.  I actually don't mind that Alicia gave away their position.  I mean it's still early on.  At this point she should still be trusting of people.  Especially at her age.  I mean back in Georgia Rick isn't even awake yet. I think at this time Lori and Shane have just left for Atlanta with Shane and they meet up with Carol.  It's only been two weeks since the world went to hell.  At this point I hope they make it to San Diego next episode.

My husband said he prefers TWD Georgia hicks who get things done over the California fraidy cats. We both agree Nick is interesting and Strand is a major player. We will keep watching though it's definitely a very different story than what we've come to appreciate in TWD.

Strand's whole "No new people!" rule is starting to bug me.  Yeah, it makes sense.  But it'd be nice to see some more characters added that aren't this bunch.  I mean this bunch isn't flat out awful, but it'd be nice to see some new characters to interact with.

Strand had a line about the people being more dangerous than the dead.

 

So, the better of the two shows goes without saying it... yet a character explicitly states it in the "prequel."

 

Meh.

 

I hope they get to mehico so we can see what this compound is all about.

I completely get why Strand doesn't want more mouths on the boat. Makes sense while they are on the water. I think Strand's time is coming to a close shortly. I had that feeling a few weeks back, but it got a bit more confirmed with the previews this week.

He was so nonchalant about it too. Never thought twice. Just did it, what he thought he had to do. It did make it more chilling after what she had said too.
