I keep thinking somehow Ramsey falls and the Jaguars have their ideal starting SS to pair with Gipson.

That's a major hint that we're looking at a DT. What's the fastest way to the QB? Thru the Center.

Throw in the fact that both Gus and Dave keep saying "pass rusher" and not defensive end or edge rusher in all of their comments and voilà....Buckner it is.
We just paid 90 mil to a guy to do that, we also have Marks coming back, who they said will backup Jackson, we also have Odrick and also have Bennett we have plenty of interior rushers, Bosa can rush from inside and outside, he would make way more sense to those comments then Buckner

Ramsey isn't a strong safety. And if he was I'm not drafting a strong safety in the top 5.

I agree. I'm not a fan of Buckner, I'm just stating what I'm reading in between the lines.

I get you but I dont see it

plus Buckner played a 3-4 in college, we would be drafting him number 5 and then asking him to play a defense he has never played and then beat out a bunch of solid vets who knows the defense. The kid would have a massive disappointing rookie year, either because he cant get on the field or just lost out on the field.

Or, it's in reference to Malik and Sen.

We do not need ramsey. We do not need buckner. My three choices by preference. Bosa by a longshot, tunsil because luke is just not that good, jack I think the knee is good and we could use him.

Boom.

agree, I dont see how we could take him to play corner when you watch his tape. Watch the NC State game, he got picked on and not to mention the Miami game and a few others. He was best when he lined up around the line of scrimmage

Figured I would watch a few.

The Miami game 1 TD he gave up a few passes.  Not his best game

The NC State game 1 TD gave up, and a few passes again.  A better game than the Miami game

I watch 2 games and 2 TDs gave up.  I hope this is not a pattern.  He looks his best to  me when he lines up around the los and blitzing the QB.  If we do draft him I just hope we play him at SS where he can pay in the box, looks much ore comfortable there imo.

Going with Ramsey.  The mixed mediacal reviews on Jacks knee is a concern.

Here is a game from last year.  Plays all over the place and again looks a ton better around the los but gives up 2 TDs in this game.  As many TDs as he give up it would be nice to see him get a few back.

If we drafted Ramsey I would much rather play him at SS than corner, that is all im saying.  No matter where we picked him.  He is a much better player around the line of scrimmage

I watched that game and the Oregon game. Playing him at CB is a waste of his talents.
