Jack is an amazing player when healthy, but he lost most of his 2015 season with a knee injury, and the Jags are seriously betting on potential here. If Jack comes all the way back, he's thevery model of the modern linebacker with his ability to cover all the way out to the boundary. A special player, and a worthy risk.

What exactly has he done? Most GM's would have taken Ramsey at #5 or earlier. Caldwell didn't make Jack fall, if Jack is out in 3 years then what?

That's not really hate. They said it was a "worthy risk" at the end.

 

I think the C just means they felt they couldn't rate it good or bad at this point based on the single unknown which is the health of his knee.

 

 

I think they are just acknowledging the boom or bust potential the pick has. I think that's a fair assessment at this point.

With the athletes we have on defense, now we get to see just how good of a defense Bradley and Wash can create..

Quite true, if the athletes can live up to their potential. If that is indeed the case, then it will be interesting to see if this defense can save a HC who is on the cusp of being disavowed here.
