I'd think Center....or Guard and slide Cann/Linder to Center

Can we get Joey Bosa with our 3rd round pick?   No?   Okay.   Seems like the logical thing at this point.

I guess it can't hurt to ask the Chargers if they'd like to make a trade for our 3rd round pick.

Quote:You're on drugs but Cyp is underrated by a lot of people. Now he's got some people around him and can play more naturally, I think he'll start to show what he's made of. This backfield is going to be leaps and bounds better than it has been.

Cyprien sucks dude.

Depending on who's stopwatch, I remember his Freshman year when he ran down Bo' and got Helmut Palmed.

He ran down Bo Jackson, yup, that's fast

When they have no time,  they think about it!

When they go down hard, they think about it!

Just watch Peyton, Andrew, Caep even Mr. Bundchen.

Shoot, ask Joey if he would like to play with the Big Boys.

Oddly enough. SI.com hates the pick:

PICK ANALYSIS

As with the Jaylon Smith pick, this is all about risk. Jack is an amazing player when healthy, but he lost most of his 2015 season with a knee injury, and the Jags are seriously betting on potential here. If Jack comes all the way back, he's thevery model of the modern linebacker with his ability to cover all the way out to the boundary. A special player, and a worthy risk.

Draft Grade: C

Enjoying some of the comments from reddit /nfl on this.

  • "I have the best picks!"

  • "We're going to build him a new knee, and we're going to make the Colts pay for it!"

Haha! The one guy talking about all the money we spent in FA: "They're gonna be in trouble when it comes time to pay Bortles and the boys"

Don't you know about Diamond Dave and his golden checkbook???

Quote:What exactly has he done? Most GM's would have taken Ramsey at #5 or earlier. Caldwell didn't make Jack fall, if Jack is out in 3 years then what?

I love the 2 picks but you guys are exaggerating... as always.

Always one guy that wants to be the cool rebel

That's not really hate. They said it was a "worthy risk" at the end.

I think the C just means they felt they couldn't rate it good or bad at this point based on the single unknown which is the health of his knee.

I think they are just acknowledging the boom or bust potential the pick has. I think that's a fair assessment at this point.

That true. I was just surprised at a C given everyone else's grades.

Talk about straddling the fence!  It's going to be an A or an F, I guess they're just taking the average.

When you get into the endzone, act like you've been there before.

Jack.... isn't that the fellow with the bad knee? Hmmm. Well, things have been desperate around here for some time but, really, we're excited because we got a rookie with a bad knee? I hope things work out and we're not lining ourselves up once again for disappointment when the reality of the regular season gets here.

Quite true, if the athletes can live up to their potential. If that is indeed the case, then it will be interesting to see if this defense can save a HC who is on the cusp of being disavowed here.
