Derek Carr vs Teddy Bridgewater

Quote:There really is no competition here folks.

Derek Carr

70.3%, 4462 yards, 45 TDs, 5 Ints in 11 games.  He plays in a dink and dunk offense but he has the most completions in College Football that travel over 20 yards in the air.

Here are some of his game videos from Draft Breakdown.

http://draftbreakdown.com/players/derek-carr/

You can see he is only getting better every week.  He has great velocity and a tight spiral when making  intermediate and deep throws while showing great touch and accuracy on his long bombs.

Teddy Bridgewater

71.0%, 3268 yards, 25 TDs,3 Ints in 11 games.  He may play in a "Pro Offense", but it's a West Coast offense with a lot of short throws and Play Action.  If you watch his game film, 95% of his completions are throws that don't even pass the first down marker.  He doesn't elude the pass rush very well and isn't accurate at all on deep throws.

http://draftbreakdown.com/?s=teddy+bridgewater

Carr just looks like a Franchise QB while Teddy looks like a Kenyan long distance runner.

This is either Heero or one of his minions from that "other" message board.

The racial slant at the end gives it away.

God they suck. I was reading through one of the threads linked and apparently Heero and co. were planning a coordinated troll for the Houston game tonight. I wish I had that kind of time on my hands.

Kiper just said about this QB class that none of them deserve to be picked number 1

It isn't HeeRo until the Alex Smith comparison is used.

Well Obviously...He can throw it accurately to a moving target 99 yards away from his knees...blindfolded

If only he could stop eating to do it.

I was wrong about Trent Baalke.

Carr has only been sacked 8 times with 552 attempts with 136 yds rushing while Bridgewater has been sacked 19 times with 345 attempts and 37 yds rushing.  Carr has also scrambled for more yards and first downs.  If you actually look at the videos of their games you will notice that:

1.  Carr makes pre-snap reads and calls audibles and adjusts his players to be in the right positions, Bridgewater doesn't.

2.  Carr has more completions that travel beyond the first down marker in his last 2 games than Teddy has in his entire college career.

3.  Carr  can throw off his back foot with pressure in his face and launch 60 yards through the air completions.  Teddy can't even throw a ball 60 yards with his so called perfect mechanics.  If you really look at Bridgewater's release, it's Byron Leftwichsque.

4.  Bridgewater is pretty much a west coast weak armed QB.  He makes no "WOW" throws what so ever.

5.  Teddy is pretty much a skinny Byron Leftwich minus the arm strength.

Trust me folks, I have been scouting QBs for over 30 years and we don't want Teddy Leftwich Bridgewater.

There are some knocks on Teddy but comparing him to Leftwich is laughable.

Btw what NFL club do you work for again?

<p style="margin-left:40px;">It doesn't matter who I scout for.  If the Jags want a west coast QB with no arm strength and slow release then Teddy is their guy.

<p style="margin-left:40px;">

<p style="margin-left:40px;">If they want a gunslinger that will challenge defenses to all parts of the field and throw darts to Blackmon and Shorts then Carr is their guy.

<p style="margin-left:40px;">

<p style="margin-left:40px;">Honestly I challenge anyone to find me footage of Bridgewater destroying opponents with down field throws the way Carr does with ease.  That's right, you can't find any because it doesn't exist.  He can't throw downfield.

<p style="margin-left:40px;">

<p style="margin-left:40px;">I don't want to hear any excuses of the level of competition.  They pretty much play the same level of competition.

<p style="margin-left:40px;">

<p style="margin-left:40px;">Honestly, Teddy played OK in one game against Florida and now he is the second coming of Peyton Manning.  I bet if he doesn't play that game no one will even have him as a top prospect.  Nothing he does is off the charts, he is just "meh" in every category that you could judge a QB.

Kiper is full of shiet.  He thought Cam Newton was going to be a bust and had him like 30th on his big board while having D'Qwan Bowers and Nick Fairley ranked 1 and 2.  He also had Jimmy Clausen Pickles as his top QB in 2010 and number 3 on his big board.

Kiper doesn't know what he's talking about.  He gets paid to pimp players.

1.  Carr makes pre-snap reads and calls audibles and adjusts his players to be in the right positions, Bridgewater doesn't. yes he does, he works in a pro style offense and makes audibles all the time. ive personally seen it.

2.  Carr has more completions that travel beyond the first down marker in his last 2 games than Teddy has in his entire college career. without doing too much work, in every game this season bridgewater has completed at least 1 pass over 30 yards.

3.  Carr  can throw off his back foot with pressure in his face and launch 60 yards through the air completions.  Teddy can't even throw a ball 60 yards with his so called perfect mechanics.  If you really look at Bridgewater's release, it's Byron Leftwichsque. bridgewater has a quick release and can make all the throws with zip on it. leftwich had a huge windup that took forever. you are also just displaying how bad carr's mechanics are.

4.  Bridgewater is pretty much a west coast weak armed QB.  He makes no "WOW" throws what so ever. again, pathetic, bridgewater has a very strong arm. any scout or scouting report would agree. intermediate throws all make it to the receiver with zip.

5.  Teddy is pretty much a skinny Byron Leftwich minus the arm strength. all in all i would say you probably havent even watched bridgewater or somehow think that what you say here is going to convince caldwell to pass him up and take carr.

Trust me folks, I have been scouting QBs for over 30 years and we don't want Teddy Leftwich Bridgewater. you should probably find a new hobby other than scouting qbs because it appears you have wasted 30 years of your life.

also, you are still an insignificant racist.
