A smart move IMO, because why risk having them get injured (see Dante Fowler Jr). I wonder if the Jaguars are already doing something similar when they suspended their rookie workout program.

 

I would think that part of this training would be enhanced using go pro cameras on the veterans in those roles, and using that video to help them train - in addition to what they already use..

There was an article on PFT that basically said we're taking a similar approach and Fowler's injury was a big reason for why.

 

It sounds like Dave had been contemplating making changes and then Fowler getting hurt sped that process forward.
