Against the worst division of all time. When he played other teams he looked very average.

So in 2014 what QBs would you rank as better than him?

Quote:He was playing like crap before he got "injured". Don't give me that. He's not that good and everyone is starting to see it.

I second this

I'm trying to remember 2014 in detail, but I'm pretty sure that the usual suspects all had better seasons than luck.

I do specifically remember a story line by all the networks discussing how poorly luck played against teams outside the afcs... this discussion of luck's overrated-ness is not being pulled from thin air. He's had the fortune of having his win total and playoff appearances, not to mention his passing stats, over inflated by playing 6 games against dogs every year.

The fact that he's 93 on this list verifies that folks at the nfln are beginning to wake up from the hype opiate they've been smoking for the last few years.

There was so much hype on Luck coming out of Stanford it was ridiculous.

Unless he wins multiple SBs there is no way he can possibly live up to all the hype and I sure don't see him winning multiple SBs.

There are already a lot of people who would consider him over-rated, although he did pretty much own the AFCS until his multiple injuries last season.

Plus, he has won a few playoff games and got to the AFCCG. That's pretty good.

I survived the Gus Bradley Error.

Brady,Rodgers,Big Ben,Manning,Romo, then its either Brees or Luck.

His season in 2014 was pretty identical to Bortles this season. No run game to speak of so he had to go all guns blazing every game.

I hate clots as much as anyone but I think Luck is a pretty good QB,he is still quite young aswell, nowhere near a finished product. Him and Bortles are actually very similar.

Brees is way better than luck. Everyone is on lucks jockstrap due to him being mannings successor. Like I said, now that teams have him figured out I expect him to throw more picks this year.

How many of those were by dumb luck or that Hilton out ran everyone to the end zone?

Just to be clear, I'm not dogging on luck.

As jackcity and c'momjags point out, he's been good to pretty good at times. He can excel against inferior teams.

My point is that he's been over rated for a few years. He's a good qb at times, but is inconsistent. He's by no means the elite qb he was hyped up to be.

Do TDs where WRs outrun the secondary not count anymore?

He is inconsistent and throws dodgy passes too much. I just think he's a good bit better than the average QB he's being made out to be,party because of last seasons disaster.

Lucks legit imo he's never had a defense, oline or running game. I also believe Blake put himself on Lucks level last season. The wins didnt come but our defense was wayyy worse than anything Luck has had to deal with. They both get lucky in the forms of allen robinson and ty hilton...

Oh they do, and they provide luck with over half of his td passes. So to say a 10 yard pass turns into a 60 yard td is all him is stretching it. Even Mariota can do that.

A TD is TD. Luck had 2,226 YAC in 2014,Brees had 2,219,Rodgers had 2,191, Big Ben had 2,372.

Rodgers had 15 TDs of 40+ yards. Big Ben had 15 ,Romo had 10, Brees had 10,Luck had 15.

So what's your point again?
