2015 NFL Draft - Analyzing Targets www.jungle.jaguars.com/index.php?/topic/7892-2015-nfl-draft-analyzing-targets/
Great read!
Loved reading also about his RB time when he wasn't getting RB reps but he was simply thrown in during the game and told "go left or right" lol. Still managed to win offensive and defensive rookie of the year that time. This kid has everything, great speed, athleticism and versatility. He seems to really love the game and the way he prepared himself to challenge the wide receiver he shut down speaks volume about his will to improve as the assistant also mentioned: this kid wants to learn and learns fast. Was my favorite player in the draft and hopefully will become a gamechanger and a leader for us. We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today!
Great read. Love this kid and I hope he turns out to be the player I think he could be. Was my #1 player in the draft (regardless of the injury) and we got him in the 2nd. Him, Ramsey, and Fowler..... love it!
GO JAGS!!
Let's Get Em!!!! Go Jags!
My favorite part was their decision to put him on Agholor. The confidence, the versatility, the trust they had in him:
"“Here’s what we felt with that: We had just watched Nelson just absolutely torch Cal (16 catches, 216 yards, two touchdowns), and as we were watching him and seeing how he was their go-to receiver and the focal point of their passing game, we saw that he was given free access - the corner played off and that allowed him to get right into his route. We said, ‘Myles, go irritate this guy. Get up on him. Disrupt him. Bump him. Be around him.’ And it worked.” (Agholor had three catches for 24 yards.)" |
