We don't know how serious this is or could be.  It may not be a huge deal, but it could also be a bigger deal than some of you think.

 

So the "bibbers" need to calm down but some of you (FBT, Dakota) also need to realize that YOU MAY BE WRONG and it COULD be a bigger deal than you think.

 

We just don't know anything yet.  Let's wait and see what happens.

As much as we all want to stay positive, we all can't deny how old this gets; especially possibly being on the cusp of something special. We don't know what the time frame on his rehab will be, but man it feels like we can't catch a break.... Hopefully he's back by mid-preseason!

Is it ever better than we fear? You know they will go long term and he will miss 4 to 6 months, and you better believe it will be the 6 month frame of that 4 to 6 months. It is always worst case scenario with us. Always. Funny to see FBT and Dakota take their frustrations out on the fans who are upset, just like the jags bad luck, some other things never change around here.

Idk if it's long vs short term. It could be severity of the tear dependent.


Minor tear = scope clean up with minimal re-injury risk


Larger tear than thought = meniscus repair surgery.


Either way, he'll play this season, just is it week 1 or week 8?

We don't know. Nobody does at this point. It may be more severe than what's been reported so far and could also be why he's seeking a second opinion.

Just kidding. I do find it funny that posters like FBT are constantly playing the "get off the ledge and get a hold of yourself" card, while others play the sky is falling role. The best reaction is probably somewhere in the middle. Two 1st round picks in a row suffering knee injuries (of varying severity hopefully!) prior to training camp (!!!) SUCKS!!! It shouldn't friggin happen!!! Name one other team that had to deal with this situation. Okay, none? Point made. This team is dealing with some bad luck right now. With that said, there's still hope Ramsay won't miss too much time and can still contribute to a defensive resurgence as a rookie.
